We've changed the way that items drop in 3.13 so that this should almost never occur.
We're working on this but not yet able to provide a timeline.

Since this topic is fresh, i just wanted to point out the atlas specific jewellery box in delve(dont remember its name), drops nothing at all. Has been like that for a few leagues now. Wasnt a big deal since it was a rare box anyway, but for the endless delve, some people might be looking for those boxes to compliment their builds
We looked into this and found that some boxes were spawning at depths with an area level that was too low for atlas bases to be created; in that case, the drop fails. We will adjust the minimum depth for atlas bases to spawn to prevent this from happening.
Thanks for the suggestion! We raised this with the console team and they're going to look into whether it can be done. In the meantime, now that console has chat implementation you can use the also use the '/dance' command.

We are working on this and hope to be able to resolve this prior to the Endless Delve event but can't confirm this just yet.

May I ask if we will see the new Mystery Boxes with mayhem (or before christmas) or with the new league in January?
The new Mystery Boxes are expected around the 3.13 launch. They typically come out one day after.

I think people rather want to see a fix to the problem than to future videos. It would also be the smarter business decision I suppose.
That's understandable. The issue has been raised many times within the team. Unfortunately, the technical requirements for its implementation are quite time consuming and involve taking key staff away from core game development. We will continue to raise the issue in the hopes that it may be possible to overcome this in the future.
Just to confirm: both the 3.12 end and 3.13 start on console will be on January 20? If so, I'll update the sidebar accordingly.

The PC dates are correct here but 3.13 launches on console on January 20 - this is also when the current league ends.
