In the Trial of the Ancestors expansion, we've introduced several new support gems and made some changes to existing ones. As usual, we've prepared the gem data at level 20 with 20% quality for all new and changed gems to help you theorycraft your builds for the upcoming launch.

When will we learn about 3.22 challenges and rewards?

GGG has been pretty quiet on the graphics engine update that's causing major issues for some users. Can we get some fixes?
We have some more fixes coming in a patch that we hope to have out on Wednesday August 16th (NZT) as well as more coming in the 3.22 update.

Can you add Crucible league monsters to the Forgotten Corpse pool for 3.22?
It is unlikely that Crucible monsters will be specterable minions in 3.22

Does Overloaded Circuits work with Bold Undertakings?
Yes.

Will we get Atlas Passive Tree skills for both random Fortune Favours the Brave crafting options?
Yes.

How does the Schism from the Timeless Conflict Atlas Keystone work?
While you have Timeless Conflict allocated on your Atlas Skill Tree, breaking out monsters and chests from stasis will contribute progress towards a Schism, as shown by a progress bar. Once the progress bar is full, the Schism will occur and the Legion encounter will begin. Breaking out monsters and chests with rewards or more powerful monsters will contribute more progress towards the Schism.

Does Trauma Support work with Totems or Minions?
No, Trauma Support doesn't work with Totems or Minions.

Can you clarify what the win conditions of the upcoming Boss Kill Competition are?
The upcoming Boss Kill Competition will require you to defeat all seven Uber Pinnacle Bosses in the Hardcore Solo Self-found Ancestor league. We'll work on correcting the announcement webpage to reflect this.

Why is there a picture of a religious deity in the Path of Exile 2 Trailer?
We accidentally filmed the trailer before replacing some temporary art. The painting is meant to have art of the character's son. Sorry about that!

Crucible will not be going core, but there are components of it that we really like that we may find a way to bring back in future expansions.

We loved watching everyone develop their Crucible trees to create unique builds utilising all the different Crucible skills available, so all your items with Crucible trees will move with you to Standard. However, the "Totems Explode on Death" Crucible Skill will likely be adjusted when that happens.

When the current league ends in a few weeks, all your existing Geodes, Remnants and Magmatic Ores will be deleted. If you have any Crucible challenges to complete, you still have some time to do so!

Recently Asked Questions

Path of Exile 2's Closed Beta will begin on June 7th (PDT) 2024. More information on how to gain access will be shared as we approach that date. Path of Exile: Trial of the Ancestors will be released on August 18th (PDT) on PC and August 23rd (PDT) on Console.

This past weekend we hosted ExileCon 2023 for over 1400 exiles traveling from all over the world to attend in person and hundreds of thousands of viewers online. It was an exhilarating two days for both our staff and attendees, packed with exciting announcements, interviews, presentations, and the card game.
