Hello everyone,

Stardew Valley is up for nomination in the Steam Awards, in the category "Labor of Love".
This is for games that continue to provide updates and content well after their release date.
If you feel like this is appropriate for Stardew Valley, It would be an honor if you gave it a vote.
I've always hoped that Stardew Valley could win this award some day.

Thank you for your continued support of Stardew Valley through the years.

I don't choose which words are censored, it's platform-specific. Regardless, I did not intend for user input to be filtered (except on platforms which require it)

There are many different platform versions of Stardew Valley that are built from the same codebase. One of those platforms requires a profanity filter. It accidentally got applied to all platforms.

It's a bug that will be fixed but for now, you can remove it by using the right thumbstick to position the cursor over the item, and then press the Y button

It's a bug that will be fixed but there is still an (annoying) way to do it until then. Use the right thumbstick to move the cursor over the item you want to grab, and the press Y

it was an accident and will be removed in an upcoming patch
