Hey, this actually isn't true. I worked for about 9 months exclusively on the 1.5 update. During those nine months, I did work with one other person (Mr. Podunkian), who did a lot of the programming, and collaborated with me on many of the systems and ideas... but I didn't hand the game off to anyone else. I also never actually hired any artists. I am very particular and protective of Stardew so I don't think I could ever just hand off an update to other people without being involved myself

Mobile players, nothing new but I just want say again that the 1.5 update port is actively in development by the porting team, and there is continuous progress being made. I remain fully committed to seeing the 1.5 update on mobile. I really appreciate your patience with this

@bluecubedude There is an item that does that, but you don't encounter it until late in the game

@Sergey87365150 it's smaller on mobile because the screens are smaller, so there's less space for UI elements

@TinekeBabc*ck @sweetxsage good point, and as someone else mentioned, you can eat certain glass jars but not others. I guess the reality is that making a game as big as stardew valley, I forgot to make everything consistent . It was a lot to think about

@SaviinKad @sweetxsage true. When the roe was added, in update 1.4, my thinking had changed with respect to eating glass jars. But back when I first made Stardew Valley, many years prior, I guess I had a different mindset. I dunno, maybe if there's another update some day I could make pickles edible

@sweetxsage I like pickles, but mayo... I plead the 5th. but if I remember right, the real reason you can't eat them in the game is because they are in a glass jar and I didn't want to have to draw a special animation for fishing out the pickles, and no way would I allow drinking mayonnaise.

@StephenCiampic1 Nope, I don't have any involvement with Eastward (or any other game published by Chucklefish). The only game I am associated with is Stardew Valley, other than a new project that I have not yet announced.
