Of course we do that. We really do not like players with nickname that starts on "p", people with brown hairs, players from cities that name starts on "e" and players who play on RGB keyboard.
All of them are put into one team (always BLUE) and we take over control on their vehicles to make silly things like driving around, shooting at road signs and MG all the fences.
Sometimes, when we are bored, we give one person from BLUE team to get 1-2 kills. It's funny to see (yes, we can see everything via super satellite live feed) how they are happy for few seconds. No Arcade mode doesn't even show up, apparently he had to play 5 ground battle (AI) battles first

Brand new players needs to play few "initial" battles before they can select all the modes.

It depends on situation. If you move, your spawn protection is disabled faster.
AFAIK You can see if you have it or not by checking tank status icon on bottom left side of the screen. If it blinks - spawn protection is on.

Most probably it shows connection issues between you and server.
Jump here: https://warthunder.com/en/tournament/replay/ and check server replay of your battle. You will see how server saw your game. Most probably due to lag/packet loss, your game client render the shell/enemy with delay.

Well, you can use only 3rd person view if you want. Each view can be bind to specific button. No need to jump between all of them with one button.

Yes.
Team kill is a team kill.
There is automatic system that punish team killers:
any TK lead to SL fine (if I remember correct, 40K SL in RB)
TK are stored, so more TK player do, longer ban he gets

Well, it means that you selected Arcade task, not Realistic Battles one.
