As many of you have likely been following, one of the most intensely discussed Helminth abilities has been Marked for Death. Upon releasing the Helminth, we knew that it would be a system that had the potential to shift strategies in Warframe drastically. Helminth is a system in the vein of what we find most exciting about creating a game like Warframe, which is to design something that feels truly exciting to us as Devs, and hopefully to you Tenno as players.

I can understand fixing stuff like mods applying twice, but was MfD's AoE having 7m range instead of 5m after the patch a bug too?

I'm sorry, but it seems like they're refusing to accept responsibility for a bad decision.

We get the frustration with the MFD changes, but in reality we learned about MFD and made a directed balancing effort right before parts of the team took some well deserved time off. 

The changes went out yesterday, and we'll be doing another review after this weekend once everyone is back in the swing of things next week!

We have read countless paragraphs and posts, watched hundreds of minutes of YouTube feedback, and more! We tried to gravitate toward certain areas for Round 1 changes, which were highlighted most frequently or compellingly in your feedback. Adjustments may be made between now and when the changes go live!

Here is how we are changing Xaku’s Passive:

  • Including AOE damage reduction as part of Xaku’s Passive.
    • How it will work: Instead of a 25% chance for incoming damage to pass through Xaku entirely, AOE damage will simply take a 25% damage reduction (75% while The Vast Untime is active).
    • Currently, Xaku’s Passive reduces incoming weapon damage. Which includes projectile, hitscan, and melee attacks, but does not include any protection from enemy AOE damage. For example, if a...

Scintillant! We discussed it yesterday, and realized the Scintillant description was too vague in terms of other methods to acquire it and updated its description in a Hotfix.

Overnight, we ran stats and the amount collected was too low, which is widely accepted from the community to be the case. While we all start with baseline '0' for new Updates, this Resource is an outlier in how slowly it's being accrued, which is to say current pacing is not our intention. They should feel like a revised Cetus Wisp, but when we compared the two overnight, and considering more people are playing Heart of Deimos and how many Scintillant are needed, they were lower to a degree that doesn't make sense with their hookup.

We are getting a fix and (along with general Son Token rebalance) in for this today.

Dropping a note here that this has been acknowledged internally, we're replacing the Credit Caches in higher level bounties with an Ayatan Amber Star in a future Hotfix
