We have integrated a very effective anti-cheat system called "Easy Anti Cheat" (EAC) into Empyrion to avoid cheating on dedicated servers.

EAC is not activated per default because we did not yet run extensive tests - we are planning to activate it by the end of the next week. However, if you want to help us testing it, you can activate EAC as follows:

1. On your server, open dedicated.yaml and set:

EACActive: true

-> now EAC is active on your server

2. All clients that want to connect to your sever have to run "EGS.exe" from inside the installation folder of Empyrion: C:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Empyrion - Galactic Survival (if Steam is not installed to standard location, see: ... Read more

To manually setup an admin permission file on your server, please go into "Saves" inside the installation folder of Empyrion: C:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Empyrion - Galactic Survival (if Steam is not installed to standard location, see: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=7418-YUBN-8129)

Create "adminconfig.yaml" with the following content:
