Later in the month. CT won't just focus on the August update.

We've updated the map rotation for GA in Star Wars Battlefront II. New rotation is:

Geonosis > Kamino > Naboo > Kashyyyk > Yavin 4 > Hoth > Tatooine > Deathstar II > Endor > Jakku > Takodana > Starkiller Base > Crait

Changes are now live.

Hello everyone,

This morning in Star Wars Battlefront II we're going to be making some changes to Geonosis in GA.

  • Lowered the health of the AT-TE by 1,000
  • Raised health of the Hardcell Transports by 1,000

These changes will start to come into play within the next 10 minutes but can take time to propagate through all of our servers.

Out of curiosity, why is it a limitation for Battlefront, when Battlefield can handle it on console?

Different games, different things going on in the game etc

Your average PC hardware probably isn't as high as you expect it to be.

I'd be interested to see how the performance of such tests compares to existing gamemodes in something like BFV, since BFV seems like it would be more hardware-intensive than BF2 is, and yet BFV doesn't appear to have problems stemming from player counts (at least afaik).

We put the AI in Capital Supremacy up quite high (while working out how many to include) and our machines started to grind, FPS down to 5 etc.

Still early days on it though.

This is part of the reason why we don't talk about things too early, because everyone reacts in ways we can't respond to...simply because we're still working on it, so are unable to confirm exact details.

Can her grenade reveal enemies by default, do at least 70 damage & remove her player icon. For her shield she can't undeploy it. Lol she has a better shield but can undeploy it like officers.

Leia was near the top of the heroes you would most like us to look at in the recent survey we did. She's also one that we're wanting to tweak slightly (I don't want to commit to wholesale changes). Still early days on it though.

Hey everyone,

Just a quick heads on the Old Rivalry Challenge. Yesterday when the challenge started all was progressing well. Overnight it appears that near completion there was some kind of server hiccup that has caused the challenge to enter into a restarted state.

We're currently testing a fix for this over the weekend and will hopefully have more of an update for you next week. Once we have the outcome of these tests we'll be back to let you know of the next steps.

alright, i'll just ask Dennis Branvall, also known as some_info, instead. (Dennis is clearly the main some_info guy, while you're the grievous leak guy)

could you at least tell me the name of the CT? or the topic? is it about the new ways to play or something else? (also, you said game modes. i assume they're all in 1 CT, right?)

ok, now that was asking too much, however i would really appreciate doing something like we had with maps at launch, where you tell us, for example, ** ***, and we have to figure out each letter, that example saying "EA bad"... It didn't exactly work at launch as we already knew all the maps from datamines and leaks.

You're the guy who works on youngling hunt. Your unit type is B-3N Walker. You need to get youngling hunt finished in time for august, as that's the "new ways to play". You're also a leaker, so you want to tell us more about everything coming in the next few updates, in detail.

i'm sure i convinced him

more seriously, i really hate it when people expect that you'll respond to every single bug, as there are a lot and you also have other things to look through.

heh, I've been writing a CT for August today as it happens. Looking forward to it. No leaks though, won't get some info from me.

What platform are you playing on here? What type of controller are you using (wired vs wireless etc)?

Nice QoL suggestion, will add it to the pile.

Edit: We've already got this tracked but don't have an update release assigned to it just yet. Will keep you posted.
