1.6.1.2 has gone live, which has no immediate impact on the game but does include:

  • Items granted through promotions, or contests, will now be presented in a popup as you start the game.

10 April 2019

We’re putting out 1.6.1.1 today. A small but important patch which fixes a crash and a issue with lobbies.

  • Fixed a crash that could occur when closing the game.
  • Fixes an issue with some lobbies not showing up in the lobby browser.

Heroes!

Welcome to Update #12 - bringing you two new features and of course some fixes and tweaks.

First a note on the patch size. The patch is quite large, but the resulting game installation is smaller. Ultimately, the game install size has decreased and will take less space on your hard drive but the patch required to achieve this is hefty. We think the pros outweigh the cons in the long run.

Introducing the new Weekly Events. Think of these as Mutators that shake up the gameplay and add new interesting twists to the Vermintide experience you know and love.

Mondstille has also arrive...

So the closed test application is something we do every now and again (I’d say on average once a year). It give us a pool of players we can tap in to for potential tests. This application isn’t for a particular test, although we may run one soon.

We wouldn’t be able to let players who weren’t selected for any given test know, it could be luck, or not fulfilling the criteria for the particular test, or RNG in the case of “too many eligible candidates”. If someone is invited to test, they’ll get an email though

Hey  Yes, this sub forum is here for people who want to ask questions - there’s not much information out in the wild right now for people to form discussion over, so the category is a bit quiet right now, but no doubt as Blackfox release more details, things will ramp up!

There’s some tidbits of information here in an interview with Lead Designer, Programmer and Producer - Peter - here from his visit to Rezzed 2019 last week

For Xbox we are in talks to enable opt-in ‘test-flight’ testing. Is similar to the existing closed test group but you can sign up for it rather than it be a manual thing on our side.

For PS4 we’re looking to find out what options there are but it seems more limiting than the Xbox One side.

Summer approaches fast, and with it we’re looking to collect details of players interested in testing.

You can complete the sign up form here. What’s important...

It’s bait of sorts but we hear the message.

We are in a state of limbo right now with the console platform holders, we hope to have the updates out next week. This is more certain for Xbox One, and a hope for PS4.

Hey - yeah we use UTC for our quest board in Vermintide 1 - this is a time which never changes with the seasons, which adversely causes the reset time to move with daylight savings. It’s a feature, so to speak, as opposed to a bug

Hedge even offered me a refund but then never responded back to me.

You never even followed up on my offer of a refund. We asked you to DM with either a paypal email or such so we could refund you out of our own pocket, else we could squeeze a refund through steam provided you submitted a refund request that we could accompany with a request from our end. But you didn’t DM us, myself or Julia, with any information, so we can’t just magic a refund for you.

The game stopped functioning properly for me in April 2018 and every time I send in a support ticket, I got no response.

We reply to every single ticket, unless it’s abusive.

Locking this as it’s not constructive.

Please DM me so we can sort out this refund for you once and for all. Cheers.

Bardin has been singing you through many battles, and we can’t simply get enough of his tunes so we decided that it was time to include the best of the best in Bardin’s Songbook.

The songbook includes the tunes:

and more!

Heroes!

It’s another week, and today we’re updating Vermintide 2 with a new set of Weekly Events as well as a few fixes and tweaks.

  • Added 4 new Weekly Events (new Event goes live at 14:00 CEST)
  • Fixed a situation that can arise when a client leaves a hosted session and for a brief window is still seen as part of the hosted session, whilst also being host of their own session, causing some unusual side effects.
  • Fixed an issue wh...
