We've got a mid-summer surprise for you.

For a while now, we've had fans asking about a collaboration with the dwarven power metal band Wind Rose. Their hit track "Diggy Diggy Hole" has struck a chord with many brave dwarven hearts, and had folks excited about crossover possibilities between their music and Deep Rock Galactic.

Well, we heard you. And we reached out to them to see if we could cook something up together. Turns out the answer was yes, we absolutely could cook something up together.

When we released that cryptic teaser on Tuesday, many of you keen-eyed gamers were impressively quick to spot the numbers that we'd hidden in the image.

It wasn't long before you cracked the code: 06 13 24.
In other words, Deep Rock Galactic's Season 05: 'DRILLING DEEPER' is releasing on:
JUNE 13 2024 It'll hit Playstation and Xbox up to two weeks after that, following the usual console certification delay.

It seems like just yesterday that we watched our little game take its first steps. Just a blink of an eye, and the years whizz past... now, we’ll watch from the window with teary eyes, as our six-year-old game hops on the bus all by itself for its very first day at school.

When we published our roadmap update in October 2023, we scheduled this second maintenance update for March 2024. But it’s done early! So we’re launching it here in February instead. And in a stroke of unprecedented creative genius, we’re calling it the February Maintenance Update.
