I'm fairly sure this will never happen, as we don't want to encourage people to deliberately get drunk or force it upon others for a small reward. It's also one of the reasons calling down a beer pod won't happen. Missions are for working and the space rig is for shenanigans.
Thank you for the reply. I wasn't sure if you'd be ok with that, so thanks for the clarification.
For personal use, it's no problem at all.
I'm kind of sad, that mission control and the shooting range seems to be of the table :c
Karl gives and Karl takes away.
I can't seem to find those here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4366139
Is there another official upload of the models somewhere else? Sorry to bother you.
No, but you might be able to extract it yourself using Umodel.
Are there any plans in the future to add a fifth dwarf and five players ??? 😬😬😁🤗
Nope!
Okay but when are you gonna add the fabled sandwiches?
We'd rather use the space for more ammo.
They mentioned a small modding community, where is that? I program and I wanna make mods. I'm pretty sure it's hard though since this game uses unreal right?
There's a few discords here and there. If you check out some of the regular streamers, it should be easy to find.
I don't see a ps4/ps5 release on the road map =(
True, it's not on there. If we do it, we'll announce it differently.
Any plans for Xbox gamepass/Steam crossplay??
Kind of disappointed about this. I bought the game on steam a while back and have been raving about it to my friends the whole time. Well it finally comes out on gamepass and we're all excited to play together......but can't. Why??
Currently not. There's a bunch of reasons for this, but one of them is that the Xbox hardware is not able to fully do the same complexity caves that the Steam version has. We're not ruling it out, but for every reason to do it, there's also a reason not to do it.
Think they will add different races?
We won't.
Is there any chance there will ever be more than 4 classes? I think about other classes every time I play. Maybe an animal tamer? The overseer playable? A heavy weapons expert? A dwarf dwarf in a tiny exoskeleton?
Most likely not. It's designed to be for up to four players and for each class to have a role within a full team. We're very happy with how the four classes work, and adding a new class would be an enormous amount of work, and it wouldn't really make sense to do so.
Well, Ghost Ship, I guess that answers the question of "if we make facial animations, would they look weird?"
But is it a yes or a no?
As a girl myself, I have everything crossed that we aren't subjected to the dread that is squeaky voices, pink things, lipstick and (shudder) girl armour.
But this is 2020, and they have already proven they have good aesthetics, so I'm going to just trust them.
Chain mail bikinis?
The statues in the space rig are posed.
Do you know when the next insider build comes out on xbox?
We don't have any plans to use Insider in the immediate future, but it's not ruled out.
With this game being added to Xbox game pass....I honestly hope to see Xbox version to be worked on more then steam is...
Its gonna be adding up to 10's of thousands of daily players... and as it is Xbox has always been mostly playable but as far as I can see its gonna need overwhelming support for xbox with all these new players or I fear they may get some bad rep...
People here already state how you shouldn't bother with Xbox or windows version if you have steam...
I'm no developer but I don't think I would want that said about my game... I would want the game to be full no matter what system it is played on.
I know steam crossplay with xbox is a whole different bag but I would like to see xbox be equal with steams pc build and not just in 2nd place
We’re aware that it’s been a bumpy road - but we have been ramping up our focus for the Xbox version. We’ve ripped out the old framework and replaced it with a new, better supported framework. We’ve run Xbox Insider to test it, and we have hired both QA and platform centric developers to make sure it’s better in the future. I wouldn’t put too much thought into people saying the Steam version is better. It’s platform bias on a pc-centric website. The Steam version may seem like it gets all the work, but that’s because it enables us to develop and test faster with less obstacles. People tend to forget that deploying for console isn’t just snapping your fingers, and that’s perceived as neglect. There’s just a lot of things that makes it easier to say we put the Steam version on a piedestal, but the real story is that there’s a lot of things that is just easier to do on Steam first.
You bastards. You finally did it.
Will the pumpkin head cosmetic ever be made available again? :'<
We just added it.
