The network rework for Xbox/Windows Store versions has some issues with Windows clients not being able to connect to other Windows clients. We submitted a fix Friday, but it has not yet passed certification, so stay tuned.
We identified a disconnection bug with the Microsoft Store version when it was released last Thursday. And we submitted a fix to this Friday that hopefully should be approved by the certification to go out in a day or two.
The disconnect happens when a Win10 player tries to join a server created by a Win10 player.

Still not able to download a new version on the PC Windows store... Is there a special way I need to uninstall/reinstall it? I am right-clicking on the game in the start menu to uninstall, and then searching the Windows store for the game and installing it. Same message after a few tries this morning.
Unfortunately it’s up to Microsoft and the deities of data synching. It’s out for some, so it’s a matter of time.

That's the plan! We won't know for sure until people play it, though.
It's an update replacing the multiplayer framework fixing connection issues and a lot of other small things related to the old framework. You should see an overall improvement of performance too.
How do we know when we should install again?
Safest bet is 24 hours. The current build is giving the same message and the real one should be rolled out to tomorrow.
What happens to people who don't uninstall? Are they able to play with people who did?
It will update to a version with the above message. If they’ve disabled updating they can probably play with others who’ve done the same.
Thanks! Do we just have to keep checking the windows store for when the new version is posted? It automatically started DLing a 1 Gig update when I went to the store this morning and I haven't uninstalled it yet (on MS Store Windows 10).
We just deployed it, and it needs to sync across Microsofts servers, so that might not be it. If you’re not challenged on bandwidth, you could check back occassionally, otherwise wait a bit.
Edit: Actually, the real version won’t deploy until tomorrow. The one released today is telling people they’ll need to uninstall.

I could not start the refining process here. Might be due to the fact I collected both the eggs first, but either way the option wasn't available. 3/10 not recommended for now but probably gonna be a blast in the future!
