So you CAN disable chat, it's been an option for over a year now.

This has been stated time and time again, if you have been chat banned and you find it in error put a ticket in and they will review your chat logs and remove it if this happened from our automated system in error. Or they will explain to you why you were chat banned.

People need to remember that you are playing a game that you have people of all ages, I have LITERALLY met children that were in the single digits of age that play this game. Just because you think certain language is acceptable and others should be able to "handle it" doesn't mean they NEED to. Our rules are pretty clear if you actually read the EULA.

Best case, if you wouldn't talk to someone that you love in a certain way, don't talk that way on our forums or in our game.

Radar does NOT provide "accurate fire control solutions" the players provide fire control solutions. The ONLY thing RADAR does is illuminate ships.

Here's the deal, I don't play to try to be top of the score board, NEVER and in every class. I play to help the team.... if more people would do this, battles would go better.

What skill does a DD main have to have overall?

Knowing ranges of radar of ships


Knowing the disposition of the enemy team, both posturing and positioning


Knowing when to push and when to just stay passive and spot for the team.


Knowing the lanes that ships commonly drive through and dropping area denial torps into that area (This IS a thing)


Situational awareness around them, to know where a CV is flying and when to push or when to smoke up


Knowing to NOT run with your AA on always

I NEVER said it was fine and I have NEVER claimed anything to be perfect, you wish to say I said something, perhaps you should ensure that you are quoting me, not paraphrasing me. Game play being balanced also, does not mean it is perfect. IMO skill SHOULD be a part of balance, and if you are a skilled player DDs are pretty well balanced.

This has always been something I ask the team to do, "Focus the Cruisers" if you focus cruisers FIRST and they go down, the entire team benefits. BBs can alpha more, DDs can be more aggressive. Everyone wins.

I would definitely agree with a lot of this, IMO, at this point, DD play is pretty balanced, you can't just pop into a DD go yolo and expect good results, you have to actually think tactically and perform.

You do realize my opinion (backed by my own in game experience) is valid as well right? Furthermore, I division with A LOT of people from the community and VERY often....

I have NEVER said that life in a DD is easy, in fact DDs have a higher than normal skill cap (its been this way for a VERY long time). However, if a player is willing to learn, grow and change their tactics, it is not that hard to be a really good DD main. And, in fact be invaluable to a team.

Yeah, top tier Italian cruisers for sure are to me, my biggest threat, I literally ignore most other cruisers.

I don't know that there are too many top tier DDs that I DON'T like TBH.... each one has strengths and weaknesses, but yes, there are one that, ATM are more fun than others. I even still love play Harekaze every now and then Though admittedly I have been having a lot of fun in Halland, because Torps spam!
