Hope you all had a wonderful time this summer and enjoyed the break with your close ones.
We announced back in July that our official timers would increase to 2 weeks so you could enjoy your summer away from the Exiled lands. As August fades away, we’ll be reverting those timers to the standard 7 days on all official servers, all platforms. That also includes PS4 which had 14 day timers since it was featured in PS+ to help with the huge influx of new players. When, you’ll ask? On September 6th! (that is, a week from the time of this post).

But this isn’t the only big thing happening next week, as we’re going to launch our next patch, including our new DLC pack “Blood and Sand” on September 3rd!

Again, once and if we add sorcery or other features in the game, we’ll announce it.
Until then, please do stop flooding the forums with this topic.

It has been very humbling to see how passionate many of you are and how much you care for Conan Exiles to improve and evolve. Many of you have been constantly posting suggestions, detailed reports and repro steps for issues that made our lives easier to improve on the game and fix issues more efficiently.

Some of you are even going out of your way to inform and help players on all other platforms such as reddit, social media and steam on top of the official forums. This dedication and passion do not go unnoticed and as you might know by now, we would like to give something special back in return.

Being a sandbox game, your mileage may vary wildly depending on which mode or server you’re playing on. Some servers have massive sprawling bases and constructions that take a toll on the streaming of assets when loading an area, so we usually would recommend installing the game on an SSD or equivalent as it helps a lot with this problem. Otherwise, it is common to experience these freezes you reported whenever the reading or writing speeds are bottlenecking the amount of data sent by the server or engine.

Our team is aware of this visual glitch with elevators but they’re currently focused on some critical issues present in the game at the moment and delivering the current Testlive patch live in the best state possible. For the moment they’re not prioritising a fix for this problem, but they might reconsider it once the biggest problems are out of the way.

What kind of hard drive have you installed the game on? We’d recommend a drive with high reading and writing speeds, i.e. SSD, to overcome some of these graphical struggles.
Also, are you experiencing these freezes on another server or single player?

This is a thread commenting on the PC Testlive patch that was released a couple of days ago.

Testlive is a ground where we showcase new changes coming to the game for the community to try out and provide feedback. Those of you who feel inclined to try it out, or can, please do so and send us your constructive feedback about the claws and other changes included in that patch.

Hey everybody,

We’re keeping an eye and mind open about the oil of penetration (don’t read that out loud). Regarding thralls, oils expire on them, but we’re also adjusting timers in general.
Also, any % above 100 doesn’t give any extra.
Hope that cleared out a few questions about this oil.
