Having a wife and baby makes it hard to watch every game with all my attention so these recaps for worlds and LCS help me stay engaged and up to date , greatly appreciated.

Appreciate it!

I did not have any hand in designing this voting system.

In the article it claims CLG has one of the hardest remaining schedules but that definitely isn’t true. They play TSM and IMT in the last week.

Oh wow. Sorry about that :( Looks like I read the schedule wrong, they should be 2x Red, 1x yellow 2x Green which makes it a very average schedule in the next 5

In the final two weeks of the season, here are the head to heads between these top 6 teams, lots and lots of important matchups.

Week 7 Day 1 - TL vs Fly, CLG vs C9

Week 7 Day 2 - Fly vs CLG, C9 vs 100T, EG vs TL (these games are the first three of the day, this is going to be a hype Sunday)

Week 8 Day 1 - Fly vs 100T

Week 8 Day 2 - CLG vs 100T

Week 8 Day 3 - EG vs C9, TL vs 100T

100T has four more head to heads with top 6 teams, C9 CLG FLY TL have three matchups, and EG has two.

edit: Also if anyone is curious about records within the top 6 only:

100T - 3-3

C9 - 4-3

CLG - 2-5

EG - 6-2

FLY - 3-4

TL - 3-4

Thanks for this!

Glen dropped by on the TSM subreddit to clarify Kayys and Huni. He said said Riot only allows for 4 coaching staff in the database between academy and LCS, and to be on stage you have to be one of those 4. They wanted Huni on stage so he was added there and Kayys was dropped but Kayys is still with the team.

Appreciate it! Updated video description as well

Cool video, but there's something that I've been wanting to bring up for a while that I think is relevant here-- lots of people have been calling FlyQuest 2022 Spring as a team that got off to a bunch of early wins, but eventually couldn't keep up with the "better" teams and then fell off.

That's totally fair. But I also see a lot of people talk about how they got off to an early start by "cheesing" or "abusing" Enchanter top, and then when that got banned out they fell off after, or somehow attributing their early start to using the strategy. I think that idea is mostly untrue.

Firstly, FlyQuest started out 5-1. Of those 5 wins, only 2 of them were using Enchanter top. They were both during week one of the LCS. The first game they played, they were against CLG and won easily-- but CLG was one of the worst teams of the League in 2022 Spring, and I don't think it's fair to say that FlyQuest won against that CLG team by "abusing" anything. They likely would have beat...

tyty, will keep in mind for future FLY discussions

Appreciate the kind words! (from an LEC flair no less) We're doing our best to mix memes/fun with analysis so I'm glad people are liking it :)

Yeah i'd like to have him back, but he's currently not super up to date with LCS. We'll find the right topics eventually

I can in fact read this. I'll also say I usually do a wednesday or Thursday episode as well that's either on a new topic or is more of a preview of the next week. Appreciate the comment though!

Also here's the Danny tweet: https://twitter.com/DannnyIoI/status/1500614993082937344?t=JzcTIIlwuS9vDq5SYhZWWQ&s=19

Big yikes but he's not wrong.

Looks like the data I was reading at the time for games played in Champ Q was unfortunately doubled. Sorry about that! These should be accurate numbers now: https://oracleselixir.com/cq/leaderboard

Damn. Yeah I made that mistake. I was looking at OE data last night and unfortunately it looks like it was doubled at the time of video creation. Definitely creates a different context for the conversation

When is Riot going to release jungle proximity as a viewable stat. Give me jungle proximity and forward percentage you cowards.

Honestly I really want this to happen. Even as a coach in 2020 I couldn't look at Jungle proximity for EU or KR teams even though I knew the stats existed and could be randomly shown on broadcast. I'll keep trying to push for it

It's 400k announced in total prizing across the year, but it's broken down into a bunch of splits/seasons.
