My bad on the phrasing there, mainly said that because he hadn’t played it at all this split.

He’s definitely had pop off games on it in the past. Idk in my head it would be like saying Doublelift should add Lucian. He’s obviously played it a ton in the past, but not recently. Shoulda just said “if he can add Ryze back into his champ pool”

There’s a giant Wikipedia page on logical fallacies, but there’s probably a lot more to be found by googling and digging around a bit https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_fallacies

Link for the SGA hoodie. I'm glad he's doing well as people were hyping him up to be when he was on the Clippers (not as a superstar, but a guy with a lot of potential). Having CP3 as your (motivated) point guard certainly helps. He tends to unlock his teammates.

Even as a Lakers fan, Im with Kien on that Giannis is the undisputed MVP. When you can put up MVP numbers and dominate games to the point you get "load management" because you don't even need to play the 4th quarter, that's extremely telling. However, I've been very biased towards Giannis early on. I think he should've won most improved player 2 years in a row even though that will never happen.

I hate Houston's small ball but even more that it's working. I feel conflicted because I love that it un...

Sure thing

The problem is that the 2 most influential roles in the early game (jungle and mid) are populated by an inexperienced almost rookie, and a guy that doesn't speak english. Nobody is coordinating dives, roams, invades, or jungle routes. It is the blind leading the blind basically. Who was in charge of Early game? Nobody. Now that Pobelter is there, he is in charge of early game. it isn't just Crown sucking or something, Crown and Wiggly was just a recipe for disaster together.

Jungle-Mid synergy is soooo important. Even listening to Perkz talk about why MSI 2016 didn't work out, Trick was playing Nunu and the Mid-Jungle stuff just didn't synergize. From champion picks, to coordination we take for granted how much teams focus on it

Yeah, still feeling out what a good schedule will be. Pretty set on doing one Sunday after the games for release monday morning, and then 1 or 2 more episodes throughout the week. This week it will end up being 3, with another podcast with Kien Lam (the guy who writes 10 thoughts) coming out tomorrow at 6 am PST

Was basically just trying to do a quick comparison within their respective leagues. Like I'm bought in that G2 will be a top team in LEC. Bought in that TL C9 Dig will be top teams in LCS.

LCS vs. LEC comparisons are for another day ;)

Not sure about Jatts take on LEC. I think G2 is only miles ahead of the bottom 6 teams while the top 4 currently all play pretty decent league of legends.

Thanks for listening! Depending on reception, might go a little bit more detailed into LEC next time. To clarify, I don’t think it’s G2 and then 9 others, just that G2 is clearly better than the other top 4. Agree that there’s a fairly clear top 4 so far, just that G2 is clearly at the top of that top 4.

Hopefully people enjoy this episode! The idea going in was to use Kien’s 10 thoughts article to prompt discussion on all 10 teams going into week 2. If you don’t particularly care about one of the teams — feel free to use the time stamps to jump where you’d like!

Edit: Also side question, are there plans on Apple Podcast availability?

Definitely. Apple Podcasts just takes 4-10 days to approve new podcasts (AFAIK) and.. this one seems closer to 10

However, I’m not sure if it was just me, but I found your 100T episode pretty much a summary of Dash’s interview. That’s probably my fault for watching both pieces of content. Maybe in the future it would be better to choose a guest that wasn’t recently taking about the team.

Just my opinion though

I do read these, thanks for the feedback :)

Still not on iTunes. iTunes takes 4-10 days to approve new podcasts AFAIK, but after it's approved new episodes can go up pretty fast. Spotify is up and running now, as well as Soundcloud

I really agree with a lot of what is said about the new C9 roster. C9 clearly wanted a roster built around early game, and Blaber and Vulcan are great prices for that. Blaber is very aggressive and Vulcan has a good champion pool for skirmish heavy teams (Leona, pyke, naut).

I am worried about what games look like when they don't get ahead early. Or even if they do get ahead early, who is gonna shotcall the mid and late game? As far as I know Sven, Zeyzal, and Sneaky were pretty big voices for mid and late game decision making, so now that they lost all 3 of them, I think they will struggle in that department.

From an interview that came out today with Licorice and ESPN, it sounds like C9 is still working out how their team operates without sneaky, but that Licorice and Blaber are doing a lot of the early game calls. Also mentioned that they had a lot of practice during their Korean boot camp so ‘hopefully’ that makes the start of the season smoother.

Thanks for listening :o

Episodes 3 4 and 5 will be out on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
