The end of Shadowlands Season 2 is around the corner, here’s what to expect:

Shadowlands Season 2: PvP

• The current season of Shadowlands PvP content will end at 10:00 p.m. the night before maintenance in each region (February 21 at 10:00 p.m. PST for North America realms / 22 February at 22:00 CET for European realms).
• With the season’s end, it will no longer be possible to earn PvP seasonal rewards, titles, or Shadowlands Season 2 rankings.

Shadowlands Season 2: Mythic+

• The current season of Mythic+ content will end with the start of regional maintenance on February 22. With the season’s end, ratings that qualify for the 0.1% “Tormented Hero” title and achievement will be recorded.
• “Tormented Hero” will be rewarded during the following weeks after the season ends, so be sure not to change factions until after you have received the title.

      • 4-piece: Now grants the Death Knight the Harvest Time buff if the enemy dies while Soul Reaper is active on them before it explodes.

  • Enhancement
    • Fixed several issues with the bonus Chain Lightning from Ride the Lightning (PvP Talent):
      • Chain Lightning now has its damage properly increased by Mastery, its bounce distance has been correctly increased to 10 yards, and it deals 27% more damage. Being silenced will no longer prevent this Chain Lightning from happening.
      • The Ride the Lightning bonus Chain Lightning no longer incorrectly increases damage dealt for each additional target it hits, and no longer benefits from abilities that affect Chain Lightning such as Maelstrom Weapon or Stormkeeper.

• Player versus Player
  • PvP faction items now have an Honored reputation requirement (from Revered).
  • The battleground mark costs for Season 1 gear have been removed.
  • The battleground mark costs on Vindicator items have been reduced by half.
  • The amount of bonus honor rewarded from the marks-to-honor repeatable quest has been increased.
  • The Call to Arms daily quest now provides 3 battleground marks and the bonus honor reward has been increased.
  • The Halaa and Terokkar PvP daily’s bonus honor reward has been significantly increased.
  • The Hellfire Fortification PvP daily now provides a bonus honor reward.
  • Tier 4 and 5 tokens can now be exchanged for season 1 and 2 gear at tier vendors.

  • Enemies during the Hydross the Unstable and Leotheras the Blind encounters should no longer occasionally become stuck in the environment.

• Shaman
  • Chain Harvest (Venthyr Ability) now grants 3 Maelstrom per target hit when cast while in Elemental Specialization
  • Splintered Elements (Necrolord Runecarving Power) now increases Haste by 10% (was 8%) for 12 seconds (was 10 seconds).
  • Elemental
    • Storm Elemental’s (Talent) Wind Gust now lasts for the duration of the Storm Elemental (was 30 seconds).
  • Enhancement
    • Frost Shock and Flame Shock no longer have a shared cooldown.

DUNGEONS AND RAIDS

• Tazavesh, the Veiled Market
  • Increased the cooldown of some enemy and boss spells, and decreased the health and damage on some enemies and bosses across both Streets of Wonder and Soleah’s Gambit dungeons on Mythic+ difficulty.

ACHIEVEMENTS

• The achievement Unlocking the Secrets to learn Zereth Mortis Flying has been added.
  • Developers’ note: After listening to player feedback regarding access to Zereth Mortis Flying being too time consuming, we’ve made the change to now unlock flying more easily by completing a series of achievements around Zereth Mortis instead of researching Cyphers of the First Ones.

Enemies throughout the dungeon possess relics of the First Ones. Destroy the relics to summon the First Ones’ Automa and gain powerful bonuses, based on the order in which they were destroyed.
