Hello everyone! Here’s what you can find in today’s PTR update:

CLASSES

• Death Knight
  • Abomination Limb (Necrolord Ability) damage increased by 20%.
  • Abomination’s Frenzy (Necrolord Runecarving Power) now increases enemy damage taken from the Death Knight by 20% (was 10%), and enemies affected by Abomination’s Frenzy now also take increased damage from your Minions for the duration.
  • Convocation of the Dead (Conduit) now reduces the cooldown of Apocalypse by 1 second per Festering Wound burst at all ranks and now also increases Festering Wound damage by 15%.
  • Eternal Hunger (Conduit) increases Minion damage by 6% (was 3%).
  • Embrace Death (Conduit) causes Sudden Doom to increase Death Coil damage by 40% (was 35%).
  • Brutal Grasp (Conduit) increases Abomination Limb damage by 30% (was 15%).

We’ve posted the schedule for the next two weeks of raid testing here. As mentioned in Zahko’s reply above, there is the possibility that the schedule could change as we get closer to the day of testing, but we hope the advance notice helps with planning your raid groups.

As everyone gets used to the earlier raid testing announcement process, please let us know if you have additional feedback and if you’re enjoying the change.

A request was brought up in the WoW Community Council about posting raid testing times with more advance notice so guilds can have more time to plan their groups – especially for other regions outside of the Americas. We understand the value in having more advance notice, even if a variety of aspects could change with the raid tests, so we wanted to try posting the schedule a few weeks in advance to see how that works for all of you.

Be on the lookout in next week’s PTR build because the glyphs for these two new furrocious forms will become available for testing. We’re looking forward to seeing all the screenshots of your favorite form.

    • Fixed an issue that allowed Slice and Dice to trigger the effect of Take Your Cut (PvP Talent).

      • 2-piece: Reworked – Healing from Rejuvenation has a 25% chance to grant Renewing Bloom, healing 356 over 8 seconds. Swiftmend can consume Renewing Bloom.
      • 4-piece: Reworked – Every 3 casts of Swiftmend grants you Incarnation: Tree of Life for 9 seconds.
• Warrior
  • Class Sets
    • Protection
      • 2-piece: Outburst no longer increases the effectiveness of your next Ignore Pain, and instead now causes your Shield Slam or Thunderclap to grant a free Ignore Pain.
      • 4-piece: Avatar no longer consumes Seeing Red stacks and instead directly grants Outburst.

Items and Rewards

• Au’Dara in Oribos now sells the Incense of Infinity for 500 gold. Use the Incense at your Forge of Bonds to learn all conduits and increase the item level of all conduits in your collection up to 200. This item is bound to account, and can be purchased once you have obtained Renown 80 on any character. Note: Your character must be level 60 to use the Incense, as the Conduit system is not available until then.

WoW Classic Era and Season of Mastery

• On Season of Mastery realms, the Unseen spirits in Duskwood will now reveal themselves when someone is brave enough to disturb them.

  • Summon Succubus has been replaced with Summon Sayaad – Randomly summon your Incubus or Succubus. Warlocks may speak to the Warlock trainers in Stormwind or Orgrimmar to enact a pact with their Incubus or Succubus, ensuring that only they are summoned.

      • Fixed an issue where players could get out of range of Raest Magespear’s spells. Raest Magespear’s damage bonus when Karam Magespear is defeated first has been reduced to compensate for the change.
      • Fixed an issue that caused enemies summoned during the encounter to despawn prematurely.

Burning Crusade Classic

• Fixed an issue where players would be saved to Tempest Keep before defeating any bosses.
• Tempest Keep and Serpentshrine Cavern are now in their post-nerf state (Original Burning Crusade version 2.4.3).
  • Attunements are no longer required to gain entry into Tempest Keep and Serpentshrine Cavern.
  • Lady Vashj’s bridge console in Serpentshrine Cavern can now be activated without having to defeat any other bosses.
  • The doorway to Keal’thas Sunstrider’s room is now immediately open without needing to defeat other bosses.

• Spoils of War now increases Honor gains by 40%, in addition to increasing Conquest gains by 25%.
  • Developers’ note: Honor gains lagged behind Conquest gear acquisition after enabling Spoils of War. This change matches the 25% gain in Conquest, with a little extra to give players just starting out easier access to gear late in the season.

CHARACTERS

• Added 3 new Night Elf male face options based on the 3 scowling faces, but now with a more natural and less aggressive mouth.

CLASSES

• Druid
  • Sinful Hysteria (Venthyr Runecarving Power) now increases the duration of Ravenous Frenzy by 0.1 second with each application (was 0.2 seconds) and you will not be overcome by Frenzy for 3 seconds after it ends (was 5 seconds).
    • Developers’ note: We are currently workshopping Sinful Hysteria to bring it in line with other legendaries available for Druids. Future builds may see additional changes to Sinful Hysteria so we invite any and all feedback to ensure the spirit of this legendary remains intact...

  • Developers’ note: The ability for players to get another copy of Trash Blade, Carrot on a Stick, or Rune of the Guard Captain was meant to exist only as a means to restore a lost or deleted iconic quest reward without contacting Customer Support. Equipping two copies of the item was unintentional.
