Cheating bans are permanent and there are no warnings. We take this very seriously in order to ensure that everyone has a fair and fun time playing Fortnite.
Additionally, as stated here, we ban computers associated with banned accounts in order to prevent account churning to bypass our bans.
If you believe you were banned incorrectly, you can PM me the displayname associated with the account and I can look into it. Thus far, we have not seen any false positive bans related to EAC.
So you can't speak on behalf of the two different anticheat codes you're forcing on your customers, but are knowledgeable enough to work in said department?

If players are flairing up that these anticheats are invasive and potentially ruin other gaming experiences while being equally ineffective that may be something to take into consideration.
Sorry, poor phrasing on my part. We don't monitor your activity in other games (or in general when not playing Fortnite), but we do want to ensure that Fortnite is fair for all of our players. As stated elsewhere in the thread, EAC will not run on your computer at all unless you launch Fortnite (or another EAC-protected game) - and then is only active for the duration of the game session.

Windows Test-Signing mode is not supported while playing Fortnite. You'll need to disable that in order to play as it enables the loading of unsigned kernel drivers.

Is EAC running with the Epic Launcher or the actual Fortnite client? I leave that client logged in almost all the time.

Correct, the EAC process is spawned when you click "Launch" in Fortnite, not while the Epic Games Launcher is active. You can check your process list and the service status to verify.

No, that's not the case and don't even try and sell that. I've played more BattleEye protected games than I care to count and never had the problems I've had with EAC.
You want to snoop on processes that hook into Fortnite... sure, but everything else I do on my PC is none of your god damned business. If I want to cheat in Assassin's Creed, that's my damn business. If I want to mod my Skyrim to BDSM My Lil Pony, that's my damn business. The moment your Anti-cheat starts poking around in my business, I uninstall your game.
EAC will be blocked. If I'm unable to login, your game will be uninstalled from every PC in my house and I will start chargeback proceedings on all my recent purchases from Fortnite.

Nothing about that statement has changed in the last 24 hours, regardless of which anticheat provider happens to be running on your computer. I don't care what you do when you're not playing Fortnite.
If you want refunds on purchases due to your account being banned for cheating, you are welcome to do so through the Player Support process and they will be granted.
EAC is a flaming pile of shit that will go off if you're running another anti-cheat at the same time. It will go off if you have a trainer for a single player game still loaded. "Hey, I was just Playing AC:O and ran a trainer to get gold, now I'm banned from Fortnite!" Yeah f**k EAC and everything about it even if it's a "NEW AND IMPROVED" version.
If you're running cheat software at the same time as Fortnite, you will be banned. That was the case before EAC and remains the case in the EAC+BE world.

No, you cannot opt out of the installation. However, please note that the OP was mistaken about EAC's capabilities and it does not take screenshots of your desktop. EAC's eSports anticheat product (which is not what is implemented in Fortnite) is the product that does that.
I’m not worried about accidentally being banned from OTHER games because I only play fortnite at this point, but I’m worried about them taking screenshots of my game or any thing else, what if I’m typing in credit card numbers and they screenshot it or something?

That is a standard statement in many software EULAs. Fortnite has the same statement in our own EULA.

Update: i fixed this by going into Epic games > Fortnite > FortniteGame > Binaries > Win64 > EasyAnticheat and clicking on anticheat setup.exe and reinstalling it

There have been multiple saying that they have been banned while not doing anything "bad". I guess epic f**ked up and accidentally banned some people
We have not had any false positive bans since November 20, 2017 (SMG bans). The OP can PM me with his displayname and I can look and determine why his account was banned.
We did not ban your other account based on player reports.

i have 25 pcs in my cyber cafe. all of them are banned before 10 days(and this happend suddenly). i dont use vpn, i forbid the use of hack tools, the hdd's are protected,i use "deep freeze" softwear and suddenly all my pcs are banned! even pc that the game was not installed,i installed the game,play 3 round solo game (by clean account) and the pc became banned! i believe you banned me because of multi ip use,but this doesnot mean that i am cheater. there is no other way to operate a cyber cafe without multi ips.
