I can’t give a general pass for that because there can always be a situation where things are different, but the most important thing is that you don’t break the forum rules.
I closed and didn’t delete, I also pointed out the reasons for doing that.
Besides that this forum has rules you are allowed to talk about what you think is important, but if you break the rules we will take action.
The contect of this is bit different, first of all the idea of the thread was to talk about the classes pros and cons and the skin discussion went offtopic. Second it became heated and was starting to derail the thread. Third there were some comments and written scenarios that were inappropiate.
We first have to look at the situation and the context of everything. Checking to context of a very active and still ongoing thread can be hard especially if the discussion gets more and more heated and offtopic.
This is why some threads were closed down by me. First and foremost to have the time to look at the situation and adress the people, second so everyone can calm down a bit and cool off.
But jokes aside it comes with time^^ At the beginning I was furiosly spamming different buttons until I got the skills memorized and learned which one to use when
But that’s a bit offtopic^^ Still we can always continue in a gunslinger focused thread
So I deleted the inapropiate discussion about the skins, I’d suggest to wait for the release of the class and see which skins are available before starting that topic again.
Also @Texas I don’t think I’ll play the artist. Normally I like playing support but I fell in love with the gunslinger and at the end of the day if a class has guns, explosions and the general badassery of duowielding modern cowboys it has my heart
That’s what the reporting tool is for.
Players who attack others and troll in threads, calling others names and harassing them will be adressed and sanctioned accordingly.
But please keep in mind, if someone harasses you and insults this is no free ticket to do the same. If you do we also have to enforce the rules of the forum. Stay respectful and report them.
Friendly reminder here too, respect the rules of the forum and refrain from attacking each other personally.
Discussions about the pros and cons of the class are absolutely okay, discuss about the class, don’t attack each other or call each other names and everything is ok.
Since this thread only sparks negative discussions and personal attacks I’ll close that one down.
This is a controversial topic and I can understand that there are some strong opinions on that one. But if every discussion about this class ends in a huge fight and attacks, I will close them too.
You can talk about the pros and cons, but respect the rules of our forum and stop accusing each other with these harsh comments!

@Threesocks Ich habe nicht behauptet, das Forum wäre nicht repräsentativ und mag es auch nicht, wenn man mir solche Worte in den Mund legt. Ihr seid ein Teil der Community und das Forum sowie die Kommunikation hier ist wichtig. Sie ist aber auch Teil eines größeren Ganzen und es kann oft passieren, dass man gerade in einem Forum in eine Falle von Zirkelschlüssen tappt.
Das habe ich in meiner Zeit als CM schon öfters erlebt, es kann schnell passieren, dass sich mehrere Spieler im Forum in einer Meinung einig sind, durch die mehrfache Bestätigung einiger Individuen wird die eigene Meinung schnell als allgemein akzeptiert angesehen und man kann schnell zu dem Schluss kommen “Das ist doch die allgemeine Meinung der Community”
