Beware the Fork Knife! We’re aware of an issue with players being eliminated when walking around the Fork Knife near Fatal Fields.

External link →We recently tracked down, with the help of an internet service provider (ISP) and one of our hosting providers, a networking issue that could be contributing to some of the lag and packet loss that players with certain ISPs are experiencing. This post is to provide some technical details about the problem and how we’re planning to fix it.
The issue relates to how UDP network packets can be delivered to their destination in a different order than they were sent. This is a protocol that all programs using UDP for networking have to deal with, and Fortnite, by way of Unreal Engine 4, does handle it, but not as efficiently as it could.
To help understand the issue, here’s a simplified version of the high-level sequence of events that occur in a single frame in-game.
Try to read a packet from the network, if one is available, go to #2. Otherwise, skip to #4.

We're aware of the issue where if "Sprint by Default" is OFF and you do any animation while sprinting, then your character will stop sprinting until the hotkey is pressed again.
This issue is being fixed in the next client update.
This issue is separate from the other Auto-Run issue that was occurring yesterday.
Fear not! We have a fix for the issue you're talking about in the next client update.

This actually was mentioned in the Patch Notes here:
"Updated Loot Props Gallery - Add new chest that is equivalent to a supply crate. This will be used in new block submissions."
The reason you're seeing this type of Chest is that it's at the Block, which is the only location you'll be able to find this Chest in Battle Royale.

This was said in the recent Fornite Battle Royale AMA regarding this feature: "We’ve been considering this mechanic for a while and have been exploring it. Want to make sure we give it the time it needs and fully understand its impact on the game as a whole. Look for further updates during Season 8."
We’re aware the “auto-run” feature is not functioning properly for some players. We’re working towards a fix and will get it out to you as soon as we can.

It seems the bottom bar where the chat option is located blocks the drop down menu for party assist. I’ve also noticed the same bar blocks the announcements that appear on the bottom as well.

Select no fill with default settings and it will fill your game with randoms.
