Two weeks ago we asked the community for questions for our developers to answer. We answered many of the big questions in a post last week, and have the final set of answers today.
In two weeks, on the 21st of May (PDT) we'll announce our next expansion and its challenge league. Alongside the announcement we'll release a new set of Supporter Packs, which means that the current Synthesis ones will leave the store forever.

It doesn't take much reading of the official forums or subreddit to realise that a group of Path of Exile players are angry about a number of topics and feel that we haven't given solid answers about how we're going to address these issues. We will explain as many of these topics as we can in the Q&A that is currently scheduled for later this week. However, one thing that the Q&A doesn't address is how we got here. Chris wanted to personally post an explanation of what has been going on behind the scenes at Grinding Gear Games that led to this state.
Alongside the development of our next expansion, the team is continuing to work on updates for the current Synthesis League. The upcoming 3.6.4 patch contains improvements of graphical performance of several player skills, monster skills and areas as well as various bug fixes. We're planning to deploy this update by the middle of next week. For this news post we've prepared a preview of its patch notes. Please note that the final patch notes may be changed prior to the release of the 3.6.4 update. 
We're excited to announce that the team at BEAT esports have worked with us to produce a Path of Exile invitational where many top Path of Exile racers will compete in a pair of races, culminating in killing Act 10 Kitava. There's over $2,000 in prizes available and the winner will be flown to New Zealand to compete in the racing grand finale at ExileCon!
We're happy to announce that we will be running a Synthesis Flashback Event in the lead-up to our 3.7.0 expansion! This event will include eleven past league mods and the Synthesis League content so that you can continue to complete your challenges in a fresh and competitive economy.
