Recently, we have received an increasing amount of reports from players being pushed from a Yellow Zone into a Red Zone by abusing a specific edge case with forced movement mechanics.

We would like to raise awareness that abusing this mechanic in order to push players into a Red Zone is considered an exploit under clause 15.5.4 of our Terms and Conditions and those who abuse it will be sanctioned accordingly.

This not only includes the players actively pushing but also the ones that actively participate in the group to kill those players once they are pushed. We have to assume that they know what their party members are doing and are fully aware that they are abusing a bug.

We will need to deploy an off-schedule Hotfix at some point in the next 2 hours.
This will include a Restart of the Server.

You will get a 15 minute warning before that happens, but please make sure not to start any activities in that timeframe that might be affected by the Server Restart.

The Hotfix will be deployed at 14:20

And because there has been some misinformation going around: We are not rolling back any progress, and we are not resetting any stats with this hotfix.
However, we reserve the right to deal with bug abuses on a case-by-case basis if we find them happening.

As many of you have noticed, a bug on June 9th caused Fame to be distributed over several nodes instead of just a single node on the Destiny Board. This bug affected Combat Fame as well as Crafting Fame.

The bug has been fixed with Hotfix 2, however, prior to this fix, there were a number of players attempting to abuse this bug to gain a lot more Fame than they should have gotten in a short period of time.

Specifically: players tried to exploit the opportunity to use massive numbers of Tomes of Insight to level up multiple nodes on the combat trees at once.


We would like to remind players that abusing a bug of this scale falls under section 15.5.4 of our ToS:

Compelling reasons include for example (without limitation):

• If the User is engaged in cheating, use of bots, financial fraud or severe abuse of bugs.

The following will apply With Patch 1 of the Lands Awakened Update (Patch 1 will go live approximately 2-3 weeks after the Launch of the actual Lands Awakened Update, specifics will be announced as we approach that date more closely):

Hello everyone,


If you have started the test server since the new update got deployed there, you might be unable to enter yellow, red, or black zones on the live server.

This bug happens if you disabled the popup notifications for the respective zone types on staging.


How to fix it:

Go to your settings (on live) -> Notifications

1. Find the "Entering a (type) Zone" notification for the respective zone and click on the x next to it

2. If that doesn't fix it for you, then reset your notifications settings. You can find that option at the bottom right.

Please note that these websites are PHISHING WEBSITES, designed to steal your account information, to steal your Albion Online Account, and more if they can.

They usually have this in common:

• a promise of a free trial of some sort of service - usually bots, radars, or other tools
  
• Some sort of "you can make cash with our services" scheme
  
• Some sort of promise to get gold/silver/items for free
  
• redirection to a website that is not albiononline.com or to a discord server that will lead you to their website

With the launch of Patch 7 a couple of issues have come up which we are currently looking into:

1. Open world treasure chests currently don't have party loot protection. This means that after opening it, everyone can take from it. [Fixed]
   
2. The "Place" button on mobile is missing. [Fixed on Android and iOS]
   
3. On Android, the shop tiles of the new vanity bundles, show a timer of "1d12" remaining time. This timer should not be there and will be fixed with Patch 8
