Each week* a panel of official judges, chosen from the team, will vote on the top 5 Screenshots submitted each week and the winners will receive

300 Golden Eagles

for being placed in the top 5. Every week 5 new winners will be drawn and at the end of the month, the judges will vote on the top 3 of the month from the winners throughout the month and those winners will earn

Mitsubishi A6M (All Versions)

Some vehicles in War Thunder don’t quite get the attention they deserve; therefore, we believe that this must change quickly. Probably the most famous Japanese Fighter of WW2 the Mitsubishi A6M Zero has quite a lot of Versions available in War Thunder. Unfortunately, a lot of the older skins are no longer up to PBR and modern standards. Starting today we are going to have again a little competition here in our “Live War Thunder” Community. We are eagerly awaiting your entries for this “Dainty as a Dragonfly and Dangerous as a Rapier” plane.

Marcario Garcia was the first Mexican immigrant to receive the Medal of Honor, USA's highest military award. Garcia participated in the Invasion of Normandy and received his hirst honors in the summer of 1944. In the Battle of Hürtgen Forest while fighting the German forces under Grosshau, Garcia destroyed two enemy machine gun nests and took four prisoners all by himself, and kept fighting until completing his task despite being injured.

The M4 Sherman was the workhorse tank of the US Army during WW2, and one of the most produced tanks in history. It performed really well in any theatres of war it was involved in, and its variants remained an effective counter to the German armour till the very end of the war. All in all, almost 50,000 Shermans rolled off the factory floor. Furthermore, in War Thunder, the Sherman is one of the most widely used vehicles, with almost every nation having at least a single variant of the iconic tank at their disposal. On August 16th, 1940, US army forces performed their first parachute jump. The airborne troops received their baptism of fire a couple years later in North Africa and went on to play a crucial role in key late war events such as the invasion of Normandy and the Battle of the Bulge.

In 2002 President George W. Bush declared August 16th as National Airborne Day.

All author camouflages from trophies from the “Starfighters”, “Viking Fury”, “Nordwind” and “Night Vision” updates now all have the same rarity: unusual (green).


In connection with the change in the rarity of camouflages from trophies from the Starfighters”, “Viking Fury”, “Nordwind” and “Night Vision” updates, the conditions of exchange of camouflage coupons for vouchers on consoles have been updated in accordance with their new rarity.


The amount of ammunition for anti-aircraft and coaxial machine guns has been changed to a multiple of the length of the used belt.

The current provided changelog reflects the major changes within the game as part of this Update. Some updates, additions and fixes may not be listed in the provided notes. War Thunder is constantly improving and specific fixes may be implemented without the client being updated.
