Hi! This is Thunder Show, and here's a fresh set of the best game moments. This week's been especially rich with bombs. We've got some Canberras with nukes, a simulator mode master, a lucky I-185, a ricochet guru on a Friedrich... and another stunning ricochet from an IS-2, although with no bombs. Let’s get started!

So, what do you do if something incredible happens in your battle that deserves to appear in Thunder Show?

While in the game, go to “Community > Replays” and find the replay.


Press the “Rename” button and give it a memorable name.


Open the Replays folder in the game folder: search for the file with the name you have just given it.

Update ‘Wind of Change’ introduced a new tech tree – Israeli Ground Forces. You can unlock it by buying Rank 4 American or British vehicles – or by purchasing one of the Israeli premium tanks. In this new tech tree, there are modifications of some familiar vehicles from other countries, as well as vehicles of indigenous design.

Introducing the suspended weapons editor

We have already talked about the customization of suspended weaponry presets in the devblog. With the release of this update new features are now available for the Mirage F1C, Su-22UM3K, MiG-23MLA, F-104S.ASA, J-8B, A-10A Thunderbolt II (early) and A-10A Thunderbolt II (late). For each suspended node you can select a different weaponry option from those already researched while taking into account the ammunition weight.

Ground vehicles

A bug has been fixed where the reload indicator of the hard-kill active protection remains after a respawn when a previous vehicle was destroyed while reloading the protection system rounds.


Repair time of the hard-kill protection has been halved.


Reload time of the hard-kill protection rounds has been reduced by 25%.


Vickers Mk.7 — a bug has been fixed with overestimated repair time for optics.


M50 — a bug has been fixed that resulted in overestimated recoil impulse of the recoilless rifles.


Centauro I 120 — a bug has been fixed that resulted in overestimated recoil impulse of the 120mm main gun (report).


Challenger 2 TES, Challenger 2 (2F) — the stabilizer has been added to the Enforcer Remote Weapon Station (report).

Battle chat is now available again for both teams. Please be advised: to avoid violations of the communication rules, there is a message pause that is set equal to 30 seconds between each message you send. We will continue to monitor the situation, and, if the number of violations in battle chat increases, we will have to disable it again.

The current provided changelog reflects the major changes within the game as part of this Update. Some updates, additions and fixes may not be listed in the provided notes. War Thunder is constantly improving and specific fixes may be implemented without the client being updated.

On May 3rd, 1947, the Constitution of Japan entered into force to declare the state’s status as democratic and pacifist. Lawmakers did their job brilliantly - there were no amendments to the Constitution for the whole 75 years of its existence!

From 3rd May (12:00 GMT) until 5th May (07:00 GMT) play 3 battles in Japanese vehicles (rank III or higher, with an activity of not less than 70%) to achieve the special decal “Sakura blossom”.

Complete the task in random battles, except for Enduring Confrontation missions and [Assault] mode.
