USSR KV Series (All Versions)

It is time for our first unloved competition for the new year of 2023. To start it off we selected the Kliment Voroshilov (KV) tank series for the USSR. Being Russia's first mass produced heavy tank with 5,219 units for the KV-1 visions alone, there should be plenty of potential skins out there. You can select from a variety of models: such as the KV-1 (L-11), KV-2 1939, KV-1S, KV-1 (ZiS-5), KV-85, KV-122, KV-2 (ZiS-6), KV-220, KV-1E and KV-2 1940.

Remember to keep the entries historical and safe to use (no swastikas or hakaristi). We can not wait to see what beauties you will come up with. Good luck and have fun!

The Game Master team is currently looking for new recruits willing and eager to help improve the game by processing and actioning chat reports and moderate public chat channels in the game.

Who are Game Masters?

Game Masters are mainly responsible for any chat related issues, and process incoming chat reports from players, moderate public chat channels in the game, and answer to chat moderation related questions via forum PM’s. With this, a GM helps maintain a friendly atmosphere within the War Thunder player community.

A clean in-game history regarding chat bans and game bans.

Press the “Rename” button and give it a memorable name.


Open the Replays folder in the game folder: search for the file with the name you have just given it.

The Sea Harrier is a later modification of the British V/STOL Harrier jet fighter that entered service with the RAF in the late 1960s. Soon, the Sea Harrier FRS.1 will come to War Thunder as a new squadron vehicle, available with the release of the “Apex Predators” major update.

Briefly: A modified version of the Harrier jet fighter, adapted for naval operations and featuring a bolstered weapons arsenal.

The ‘Apex Predators’ update will be available to all War Thunder players in the coming days! Together with new premium vehicles coming to the game: MiG-21bis “Lazur-M”, F-104S TAF, Kfir Canard, F-4J(UK) Phantom II, J-7D and MiG-23ML. To make rank VIII research more comfortable we decided to change the bonuses in rank VII premium packs which now include 2500 Golden Eagles and 20 days of premium account.

If you already pre-ordered, then in addition to original bonuses (unique titles and camouflages), you will receive 500 Golden Eagles and 5 days of premium account for each pre-order at update release.

Post-war uniforms, a total rehashing of crew voice-overs, as well as a new pack of WWII AI aircraft carriers for air battle modes! Only good news is coming from the sea in the Apex Predators update!

We are pleased to announce new post-war uniforms for the naval crews in all gaming nations. The crews of the later ships and boats in open gun mounts, decks and bridges, as well as those in the rangefinder stations will now have authentic Cold war era uniforms and differs from WWII ships crews.
