yeah, not sure I understand this one. Working in IT, no one would let me push an update at or right before prime usage hours.

This is correct process and thinking, but we are not currently in prime usage hours for Rocket League.
u/psyonix_devin any reason that rocket league updates download significantly slower than any other game? I'm on xbox and consistently get 150mbs on any other download but RL updates are lower than 20mps

This is something we've asked about, but I don't have an answer. Game updates don't come directly from us (meaning you are not downloading them from a Psyonix server somewhere). Updates are sent to Microsoft, etc. to be verified and approved, and then files are released from their servers. I wish I had a better answer on this (you are not the only one who has commented on RL updates downloading slower), sadly I do not.

We're adding voice chat back while the game is running on UE3. Right now this is scheduled for Season 6 (subject to change, but that's the current target).
I've got the update, I can queue, and it's all working so far. Just trying to be positive in this thread! The performance/quality setting is not longer there though, does it default to the appropriate settings based on the console settings?
Edit: HDR settings are gone as well, but friend still has HDR settings despite same console settings

You're playing on PS5, yeah? If so, defaults to console setting, yes.
