Hey, sorry for replying to a random comment of yours, but thought this might be quicker and more precise than asking support.
It says that earning favor with a champion, we will gain a champion shard. Is it the champions specific shard, or just a random one? Since I didn't manage to get Lillia's Haiku, so I'm wondering.

So you can only have 5 out of the 9 Champion Emotes? Kinda a bummer for me but this Event still looks absolutely great and I'm already very excited! ^
Yeah we wanted to make the emotes feel special and for the choice of who to give them to, to feel meaningful. You also get some bonus narrative scenes in the epilogue for champs you give petals to

The spirit bonds system is a pretty big story, especially if you play through all 10 champs stories
The petals are limited to 3 for free players and 5 if you get the pass, I really wish I could unlock all the special icons though.
You can unlock all the special spirit bonds icons without even buying the pass. The emotes are the petal rewards
What does "playing through every champs introduction" mean? Are there missions where I have to play each individual champ to unlock the general progression?
u just click on them on the map, which will be the front page of the client during the event, this will trigger a narrative sequence you can read/play through or skip. After that intro you will start gaining favor with them and unlock new narrative sections as you continue there story

Also, if you wouldn't mind if I asked another question - will all 10 champions' Spirit Bonds be available starting tomorrow? Or will the champions who are getting skins in the latter half of the event not be available until those skins release?
All 9 announced Champs will be available when the event starts.
This is exciting! Hopefully I'll be able to max them all considering I'm so excited for Nexus Blitz to return and I'll get more points for using the SB skins!
I'm assuming we can only do 1 person at a time in regards to gaining favor? And will we be able to do Ahri/Kindred/Cass/Riven/Yone before they come out?
You can have them all started and working towards them all at the same time, and yes you can do all 9 announced skins as soon as the event starts
If my math is correct and you have to be locked into 1 champion at a time... then to max out all 10 champions is, at (what I hope) most, 500 SR/ARAM/Nexus Blitz wins, with the number dwindling down depending on how many of the special missions you do - like playing as the champion/with their SB skin/doing their unique mission - but also going up for every time you lose and not win.I seriously hope this doesn't turn out to be the case and we can get them all done in an easy 50 games, because this seems impossible, especially since 5 of the champions' skins won't be here at the start.
EDIT: Okay, false alarm! We have gotten a confirmation here that this will be much easier than my fears thought.

Like for example if I talk to every single champion and then win 1 match of SR, will they all get 2 points? I'm trying to math out how many games this will take and this information is very important.
Yes you can, assuming you have played through every champs introduction, you will gain favor with all of them at once
Please tell me kindred's mission is a joke. You can only earn 3 favor a game at most. Wtf.
Don't worry the event is long, and you also get bonus Kindred favor for using Kindred or playing a game with Kindreds Spirit Blossom skin
But Ahri releases with 10.16 which is August 5
This means that I will not be able to earn more extra tokens which are given by playing with Spirit Blossom skin equipped.
Whereas the champions getting the skin in this patch will earn extra tokens with spirit blossom skin equipped
This seems unfair how some get to start this early while I have to wait and race harder till event end date
Plus Yasuo's special misson gives 1 token for 1 kill streak
How is this fair to Ahri's mission which gives the lowest 1 when I have 3 deaths (0 if more than 3)?
This seems so unfair and dumb. Teemo's mission is 35 vision score which is so easy or Thresh has the cc score which is by default
The event will be a month long so you still have plenty of time to gain Ahri favor after she releases. It's not meant to be fully completed in the first patch. Also Ahri is +8/3/2/1 Reputation for 0/1/2/3 Deaths, so if you don't die at all you get +8 favor with her
Missions not doable in Co-Op matches
You can't get every available champion emote, and 2 of them are locked behind the pass

No one can get all the emotes. The emotes are meant to be exclusive and special. Non Pass buyers can get 3 spirit petals and give them to the 3 Champs they want to, where as pass buyers can get 5 total petals

Is it going to be balanced around completing one champion or will doing it all be viable?
You can do all of the Champions stories if you want and get all the icons, its closer to Persona in that regard then a traditional Otome. You can only get a few up to S+ though to get the exclusive emotes, which will give you special bonus narrative sections, but the main story arcs of each champ can all be completed
how long has this big of an event been planned for? it seems almost too good to be true that the biggest event yet gets to hit while everyone needs to be at home quarantining. super happy that this timing was able to happen though
we started working on early parts of this event over a year ago (Like the skins and Champions)
