Did this happen before or after 0.8.1 was released yesterday?
It is currently not possibly to obtain the Fractured Crown. However we’re trying to figure out how to bring it back, as it hasn’t actually been removed from the game.
Generic damage multipliers in skill trees such as ‘more damage’ aren’t specific to hits, unless saying so. They scale the damage of Dots as well.
Yea maybe a player.log would help as well.
It would be very useful if we could get some clips of this happening. But it does sound strange.
They are considered throwing daggers yes, so won’t scale off of melee.

Noting down which enemies specifically you think deal too much damage, as well as which attack, is very helpful when we go in to balance them. Even better would be to also include what kind of build you have and how your defenses are setup.
We do have a small suspicion that something related to Glyph of Stability, is messing with fracture chance. We’ve had too many reports of it happening above 90% to say that it’s pure Rng. So it is something we are investigating.
Yup, DoTs do indeed benefit from both leech (unless it states something like ‘leech on hit’) and penetration mechanics.
There is a button in the inventory to stash all crafting materials and affixes.
