I agree that booing teams is just really bad energy, but I have to admit, I laughed when you were trying to get the audience to cheer for BLG and they ended up booing instead.
I'm so glad to read your perspective of my intent. I didn't have enough time, and it wasn't the right place to try make that happen. I should not have tried to pull that off when I did. Regardless though it makes me happy that at least my wording was clear enough to a few folks.

I had quickly assumed people were booing BLG and I didn't want the tone to be so anti BLG who have been a solid team and a better team than G2 all day. I didn't even consider they were booing the pause itself until fans tweeted at me.
I tried to correct it when I got the mic back but I was rushed and didn't do a great job.

Nothing against you, you've just seemed to have changed something in the way you have casted that kind of affected it negatively for me, I can't exactly pinpoint what it was and it caught me off guard, normally a big fan of you on screen.
As for Nisqy, well he sprinted it
So it's a taste thing, or a perspective, that mad lost and you didn't like it because I celebrated T1? It's just interesting and strong words without context.

I had dinner with casters took maybe 10 photos and I'm so far safe. Imo the "lashing out tone" really sucks. A dude is sick, we had 6k+ fans today and I would have worn a mask if I met people and here I wanted to just explain why I did nothing. It's my 2nd live event in 3 years.

Its so heartbreaking to work all year to get a shot for international casts and AD only to get ill and be locked in a hotel room. I feel for the guys and I hope they get well soon.
I'll be staying away from crowds / fans to try avoid picking anything up. So sorry to anyone that usually gets to chat and take photos, but I gotta prioritise the show and work.

Back in 2018 when I started playing Lol PC I also met a very kind Rioter like you, I loved seeing the interactions here.
Months later I tried to play Heroes of the Storm. I couldn't adapt to the game's mechanics, XP, objectives, etc., but the experience was worth it I loved the heroes and their abilities!
It was very enriching for my baggage, nowadays as a designer I've been creating for months (in the form of an exercise) a new kit for one new shapeshifter support champion in League.
I hope we can see something refreshing for HotS in a few months as we saw with Overwatch's renewal.
