If this is an easily reproducable and really-easy-to-run-into bug in the tutorial, it should probably be tackled before any more new players get confused by it in their first experience with the game.

Other than that though, I still love the character-switching tech they made for this, very cool for when you want to show a friend, who's new to the game, the different kinds of champions! Wish it'd be used more often, but I don't see any 'singleplayer content' coming out anytime soon so that's somewhat unfortunate for it.

Noted. Don't know how quick we can get to it, but thanks for the heads up.

This is not remotely true.

Every reroll does not take into account what was put in, and every unowned skin has an equal chance of being rolled.

Have you applied for a design position? I mean, this is some quality design right here.

Hello! I'm sorry you had this experience :(

This does seem to be the case. That bundle should come with the border. Should be fixed ASAP!!

Cmon /u/Riot_Mort, people soft reset Pokemon games for HUNDREDS of hours for a shiny legendary pokemon with the right nature when they could just pay someone irl money to trade it to them. People will spend hundreds of hours for a rare drop in a video game when they could have worked 4-5 hours and just bought that item with irl money.

There are literally people playing League of...

I added an edit to make it extra clear. Not saying "don't grind". Grinding is fun in games! You should grind! Play lots. Have fun!

I am saying don't turn that grind into the most boring possible version that is no longer fun for a slight increase in efficiency.

Yeah, it's more "efficient" just to spend more money on a free game to get free content. if the rewards were balanced to not require us to spend literal days of our time to unlock, or to throw money at the company for a shortcut, it might be better.

Same thing here. Efficiency inside the confines of the game rules is the goal. I realise "just spend money" is a great angle for a Rioter, but surely even your social media team must be familiar enough with gaming culture to realize that gamers are going to find the most efficient way to PLAY THE GAME to get what they want.

I didn't spend $10 for 100G in WoW:TBC. I didspend about 8 hours a week grinding spiders outside Shattrath for silk, though. And it felt great when I hit 100g. Even more when I hit 500 and 1000.

But I guess in retrospect, the "efficient" option would have been to grab some over time at work and pay some Gold seller...

Let's say you do this, and FF@8 in ARAM as quick as possible. Ignoring queue times, you can earn 30 tokens an hour. Now if you play ARAM normally, the average game is 17 minutes, and assuming a 50% win rate you can earn 21 tokens an hour. So instead of playing the game and having fun, if you decide to "farm" you are gaining a whopping 9 tokens an hour!

Now for the sake of argument, let's double that and say this trick gets you 18 tokens an hour. (It doesn't, but this will just show how poor a use of your time this is) It would take approximately 9 hours to get 160 tokens. In the store, a 10 orb bundle is about $20 and comes with 160 tokens. So if your goal is simple mind numbing farming for tokens, you're better off doing something with your time that can get you at least $3 an hour...

The token gains are designed to be a cool reward for doing what you already would be...playing Leagu...

Waiting through queue, champ select and loading screen can easily take up to 5 minutes, and waiting for remake would be another 3 minutes (assuming its the same as Summoners Rift, which it should be).

Remaking an ARAM after wasting 8 minutes is kind of bad for a lot of people who just like to join ARAM to chill. I don't know many people who really fuss over whether or not they win. It's a "why bother" situation. While I'm not completely against remakes in ARAM's, you'd be ignorant to not realize there's downsides to this for casual players.

Pretty much this. We've thought a lot about this one, and the downsides here (players look at team comps, decide they are GOING to lose and say "its more efficient to afk so we can remake") outweigh the upsides by a lot. Not budging on this one.

I try to reply pretty frequently, and offer as much insight as I can. On topics like this, a lot of people have their mind made up and it would be far easier to steer clear, but players deserve better so I still try to offer some explanations.

That being said, the two snarky replies...one was to a person who has been hounding me since the announcement of ban removals calling me retarded asking for me to be fired, etc. The other was this one. And those replies take 10 seconds. More thoughtful ones take longer.

I've been trying to reply as much as I can. Apologies if it's not enough.

On another note, I really hope you guys don't change the stat adjustments too often. You put up the initial changelist, hotfix in another bunch of changes, and then added even more changes in 9.8. It's too much to keep up with.

For me, ARAM has always been about good champions and bad champions. I get excited about rolling a strong champion or having a really good team. I need to be able to actually assess whether a champion is good or not. It's exhausting keeping up with 30 champions being adjusted every week. Nothing feels worse than being excited to finally get Mundo but then get melted because he got +10% damage taken that you didn't know about.

I'm not saying to keep the OP champions always OP, but you should stop doing microadjustments every patch and just do bigger changes every 6 months. That way there is time to adjust and get used to the new OP champions (and the changes keep the mode fresh).

I have a feeling that your goal is to make it so that e...

Agreed. We do NOT want every champ at 50. Goal was something like 60-40 that maintains the existing power structure (sona ziggs still strong). We hit 58-43. 55-45 is the farthest I’d go.

And updates will likely be every ~4 patches
