Hello! The missing HEADSHOT text is not a bug. During our normal clarity pass, we called out that the text is essentially clutter in a space where visual clarity is key (especially in some languages). Not only can you already get this information in the kill feed, but we felt the game already gives you the information in-the-moment without asking you to divert your eyes, even slightly (I know I killed someone and if I want to know if they died by headshot, there are a lot of other ways to know it was a headshot). We're referring to the hit visual FX (or blood FX if you have that on), the unique headshot dink sound, the red X on the kill banner itself, and of course the kill feed. So TL;DR, the headshot moment is already communicated in much better ways in-game, where the Headshot text just felt extra without adding more value.

Ion - we wanted to make variants but our team was very small and we didn't have time, so we chose between either Reaver or Ion having variants

Prime//2.0 - it's not the same as original Prime (new design entirely), so we wanted to add new variants; Ion, Oni, RGX, and Reaver are continuations of the same theme but Prime//2.0 is a re-invention

We have internal test accounts we use for internal playtests (while we are also testing out new agents, maps, etc.), so we get that net positive for testing the skins to make sure they're working well, bugs, etc.

I'm terrible though because I end up spending more than that because I buy so many games and skins. I've already spent more than $400 in 2023 between Steam games, 2 Nintendo Switch games, and VALORANT skins and it's not even March.

No, we play like players and have to unlock and pay for all the stuff same as players. I prefer it that way because I feel good about the stuff we're making if I am buying/grinding for it too.

We decided this a long time ago (Oni has been in development for about 2 years). IIRC we felt we had a lot of top tier Sheriff and Operator skins, so we wanted to include some guns that had less evolving skins.

They do. There is firing audio, unlike original Oni. But it's subtle because we wanted it to feel good for people who preferred the default sound of original Oni (so it's not as prominent like it is for skins like Araxys, for example).
