It has come to our attention that some players are experiencing frequent crashes around hotfixes. The reason for these crashes appears to be that specific files are inadvertently removed in the patching process, causing the game to crash when it tries to load an asset that doesn’t exist.

If you are experiencing this issue after a hotfix, please answer the questions below:

• Were you in-game when the hotfix went live?
  
• Are you using any mods?

We will do our best to track down the cause of this issue as soon as possible. In the meantime, this issue can be fixed by verifying the integrity of the game files. This can be done via the following steps:

1. Right-click V Rising in your library and select Properties
   
2. In the Installed Files tab, press the ‘Verify integrity of files’ button
   
3. Steam will now ensure no files are missing

Because the 1.0 Launch version of V Rising is not compatible with the old servers, your old servers won't show up in the Load Game menu. But there is no need to worry! You can still play on your old servers by switching to the previous version of V Rising. However, this means you won't be able to access the 1.0 Launch content.

To play on a server created before the 1.0 Launch:
1. Right-click V Rising in Steam
2. Select Properties.. > Betas
3. In the dropdown, choose the branch for the earlier version you would like to play:

For V Rising Early Access, choose the "legacy-0.5.x" branch
For the Secrets of Gloomrot, choose the "legacy-0.6.x" branch

4. Update V Rising and play as usual

To return to the 1.0 Launch version, follow the same steps and choose "none" in the Betas dropdown menu.

Player moderation on the Steam Forums functions on the system of 'strikes.'

Strikes are assigned according to the severity of the committed infraction. There are three levels of severity.

1st Strike [Warning]:
- Insulting others without being abusive, including Stunlock representatives
- Using foul language not directed at anyone in particular

2nd Strike [Temporary Ban + Warning]:
- Making posts and comments on the forum generally considered to be toxic
- Using slurs or other racist, derogatory terms or engaging in verbal abuse. (Homophobia, Racism, Discrimination, Attacking Religious Beliefs, Encouraging Suicide)
- Making threats against other users, including Stunlock representatives

If you are experiencing issues when playing V Rising, please try the following steps:

-Verify files: Steam > Right click on V Rising > Properties > Local files > Verify integrity of game files
-Restart your PC
-Reset your client settings to default by deleting the "v1", "v2" and "v3" folders at
%appdata%\..\LocalLow\Stunlock Studios\VRising\Settings
(copy/paste that line in your file explorer)

The fact that stack same items button is named "compulsively count".

Really hope the game will see full release eventually. May update looks promising.
