Hi!

You will be able to message Filippa if you join the V Rising Discord server, as you will have a common server with her then. Here is the server link: discord.gg/vrising

Please attach the logs in your message, as they greatly help us understand the cause of the issue and how to help.

There are a couple of known reasons that can cause issues when players try to connect to their own server:

A.) You have recently switched to a new computer. Saves are kept locally at this time, but we are working on a fix for saving them on the Steam Cloud in the future.
If this is the cause of your issue, you can solve it by manually transferring the server files from your old computer to your new one:
1.) On your previous computer, locate the Saves folder here: %appdata%\..\LocalLow\Stunlock Studios\VRising
2.) Copy the saves in ... Read more

Hello, Vampires! We will update V Rising today between 10 and 11 CEST (8 to 9 UTC).
This is not a forced patch, so most players will get it the next time they launch Steam.

The following improvements will be added to V Rising with this patch:

  • Server optimizations for servers with long up times and/or a lot of players.

  • Optimized the map and minimap on servers with a lot of castles.

  • Added a “Confine Cursor to Window” setting which will confine the Mouse Cursor to the window when in Minimized/Fullscreen Window mode.

  • Updated the Social Panel: Now it displays all players connected to the server and their SteamID. We also added text chat muting functionality. Muting is persistent between sessions now.
  • Note: Some players were using the social panel as an in-game radar, this won’t be possible anymore.

  • The Blood Essence Drain Modifier setting should...

Hello, lovely creatures of the night!

We just uploaded a new version of the game, which fixes the crashing issues that resulted from the earlier patch. You can update your game by verifying game files:

Steam > Right click on V Rising > Properties > Local files > Verify integrity of game files

We believe that the crashing issues occurred because the configuration files got corrupted. We fixed this by forcing these corrupted files to be reset when launching the game. If your files were corrupted, you will notice that some of your configurations will have reset after this patch. Hopefully, this will fix the issues for all players who couldn't play the game anymore.

If you get any new issues, please report them here.

Thank you kindly for your patience!

Hello! We apologize for the issues experienced with today's patch. We are very grateful for how much you guys have tried to help us find solutions, sent us files and answered our questions. We will be uploading a new version of the game in approx. an hour which should fix the crashing issue that came with this new patch. In the meantime, you can try the following solutions:

-Verify game files on Steam. Steam > Right click on Battlerite > Properties > Local files > Verify integrity of game files

-Restart your PC

-Deleting the ClientSettings.json file, which you can find by copy/paste this in your file browser:

%userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\Stunlock Studios\VRising\Settings

After deleting it, please try launching the game again

I hope this helps at least some of you while we work on the new version!
