Hey fellow Adventurers,

Albion has long been a game about guilds. Be it to build Hideouts, grow and sustain large armies for ZvZ, or simply find a group of like-minded players to enjoy all the group content the game has to offer, guild play is the heart of Albion.

In the past, finding a fitting guild had its challenges. With no real search or filter function, even if players and guilds found each other on reddit or the forums, finding each other in game was a completely different issue.

To remedy this we are introducing the Guild Finder. Though this system is live with Patch , it will be activated and accessible later after initial Guild data is collected (our current estimate is 1 week after Patch 6 launches).
The Guild Finder is a new menu accessible via the Guild Dropdown or via the Hotkey Shift+G.
It is a tool containing 3 tabs, each with a different approach to matching players with guilds, and should provide all the info players and guil... Read more

New Thread: Journey Back (Town Portal) - Additional Information and Background

Hi all,

Having the ability to fast travel via teleport, or at least teleport back to a location that you are bound to or have recently visited is commonplace in almost all MMORPGs. Now, as many of you know, the reason why Albion does not have such a feature has to do with it’s risk vs reward design, in particular when it comes to transporta... Read more

Now, as many of you know, the reason why Albion does not have such a feature has to do with it’s risk vs reward design, in particular when it comes to transportation of items and material being a major part of its game economy.

We have thought about this time and time again and believe that we might have found a concept for a new feature we want to present to you here and gain your feedback.

Here is how it would work:
  • When entering a city or hideout, you get the ability to teleport back to the said city or hideout until you enter another. There is no way to manually influence t...

Hello all,

With the Lands Awakened update on November 24, Usage Fees for player-owned buildings will become more transparent and straightforward, and overall crafting will have a clearer and better-balanced progression based on its raw ingredients.

NOTE: The term "crafting" in this description refers to both crafting and refining, as the values, costs, Focus returns, etc. for both processes are calculated based on the same raw resources.

Usage Fee Changes

Hello there,

I'm Shakul57, a new game designer, who recently joined SBI.

One issue you brought up from time to time is the state of our ability tooltips. So I’m happy to announce, we are finally in the process of overhauling them. For this we try to have a more consistent and clear style. During this process we will also fill in the information that might be missing from some tooltips.

We created a first draft of examples for these overhauled tooltips and are now looking for feedback if you think the new versions are an improvement in terms of readability compared to the old descriptions.

Raging Storm - Bow of Badon

Shoots a Lightning Arrow, which creates a stormcloud on impact with an enemy. The cloud lasts for Xs and constantly hits
enemies within its Xm radius with lightning. This lightning interrupts enemy casting, and deals X magical damage, every Xs.
