Tank Destroyers are commonly recognized as self propelled guns without the standard gun on a turret. Due to fact that gameplay of the listed vehicles is more similar to a standard lightly armoured and mobile light tank, than an SPG (tank destroyer), we have decided to change it. Thanks to this, some of the listed vehicles will get additional gameplay advantages like the ability to repair friendly vehicles or scouting.

Changes planned for the first half of May.

A significantly reworked economy for the bluewater fleets, with a new approach to award multiplier algorithms for actions in battle and for the battle time. These changes allow us to significantly increase awards after battle, making it much closer to the awards in ground and aerial battles.

Maximum available award (Silver Lions) multiplier changes:


Ground vehicles:

Realistic battles (researchable): 150% → 200%


Realistic battles (Premium): 280% → 300%

Most probably that's the issue. WT should run as 64bit (that's the default setting since some time).

Have you tried to perform file check and update launcher?

There is also info how to force 64bit in .ini file (somewhere in this section).

A bug has been fixed where ground vehicles at long distances might be displayed below ground level for pilots.


A bug has been fixed that resulted in an incorrect splash trail being shown when an aircraft flies at water level.


A bug has been fixed where a ripped-off canopy might still sound operational when closing and continue to muffle sounds from outside.


A bug has been fixed where the distance for grass and tree visibility might be reduced after an air battle in ground arcade.

Please check server replay from this battle. https://warthunder.com/en/tournament/replay/

Such case is often a result of poor connection/packet loss.

On server replay you can see the battlefield from Server Perspective (not client perspective), so you can see if server actually get info that you shot and hit.


Launch Game.


Alt Tab to replay page.


Log in.


Search for battle you are talking about and launch it.


Alt Tab back to game.
