Only games that are started as CooP has such a file
Without seeing your logs files and some repro steps I cant help more

Two different things

Nothing a modder does can be done without our work

We have our own rules on our channels, this includes our Steam Page and we do not allow it
In the PDA is also on the lines of not being allowed but we are oke with it there

As of the issues, there workaround for the time being

Difficulty Settings > Start with default settings. Exit and change it from the Saves Menu
Issues when not owning the DLC > Copy the scenario to the local directory

Both issues do not stop you from playing

RE is made by 2 Community members who have there own vision, there vision does not have to be ours, same that our vision doesnt have to be there's

Ofcours we look in what Custom Scenario's / Server Owners do. We see and hear aswell what players like or dislike. We might add or make changes to the game with what the custom content creators have done

Custom Scenario's look up the boundries of the game. Like modding does for every game. Not always what is best for the game :)

Who is the one who cant connect? You (you should automaticly connect if you host it) or your friend?

Try deleting the dedicated.yaml from the Save Game. Then try again

Dont dubble click the save game when loading as coop,
Click it once and then right bottom load game.

Otherwise it will be loaded as SP

So there is no intention to hire custom content creators

Even the creators should not want this, we have very strict rules to work by. 75% of RE wouldnt be allowed

We are aware of the animation issue but they have low prio to fix. Once our higher tasks are done we will fix this

Known issue, start a game first with default settings.
Then go to the Save Game Menu in Game and press Difficulties then it will work
