Hello Galactic Survivalists!

As most of you have probably already heard, we have moved the AntiCheat module to a newer version. Both versions are from Epic Games, however Epic Games will only continue to maintain the new version.

Therefore, for Empyrion Galactic Survival there is the following change:
All Empyrion versions before v1.8.10 (with the old module) can only be used WITHOUT EAC from December onwards.

If you want to continue using an older game or server version, you should disable EAC until the end of November as follows:
- Players: in the menu "Options / Misc" set the item "Start with EAC" to "No".
- Server operators:
a) set the parameter "EACActive: false" in dedicated.yaml
b) if desired, access to the server can be restricted by a password, which will be given only to trusted players

While we are still putting the finishing touches to the current version 1.7.x, it is time to give you a short overview of the topics that are planned or expected to be worked on this year.



Version 1.8 & 1.8.5
For the big summer update 1.8 there are several major topics on the agenda!

First and foremost, we will be adding completely new models for NPCs and creatures that will soon be roaming the worlds of Empyrion. At the same time, we also plan to revamp some of the NPCs and creatures currently in use, replacing them with new and revised models that fit in with the general visual overhaul of the planets.

Christmas is just around the corner and even though there are still some hopefully quiet days ahead for everyone until the new year, we would like to take the opportunity to bring the past year 2021 to a close.

It was a successful year for us, and hopefully also for you. Starting with Update 1.4 in February, we have, as always with the help of your feedback, finally worked our way through four major updates with partly very different content.
