Hello tamers! We hope that you've had a good start to 2021 and that, whatever you're doing in this weird year, you're having a blast doing it.

We're writing today to share some insights on the current state of the project, our hopes for the future, and some questions you've been sending our way.

First and foremost, let's talk about the elephant in the room: is our current roadmap up to date? Unfortunately, and as most of you know already, it is not.

We made the current roadmap right after our Early Access launch in February of last year—before we knew the sort of year 2020 was going to be—and while we've always stressed the fact that the roadmap was not set in stone, it certainly doesn't match reality anymore. We've had to twist and change our plans quite a few times since the EA launch, sometimes because of good stuff, other times not so much. I'm sure you've all seen this happen a lot this year, and we understand this is disappointing for everyone (includin... Read more

We can absolutely gather the feedback here and send it to our translator for a revision, but given how recently the changes were made, and how slow the localization process can be, do not expect immediate changes. It's unfortunate that the OP didn't catch the tweet when it was going on haha. Please suggest alternatives so that we can forward them to the translators for that language.
However, we're adamant on having a gender-neutral choice and inclusive writing. That is not up for debate here, only feedback on how to actually do it. It can indeed be confusing to some, but with things that are confusing it just means it takes some time to get accustomed to it. Language changes all the time, anyways, it's a flexible thing. We deeply believe in being a nice home for everyone💕
We'll be keeping an eye on this thread to keep messages nice and friendly.

We've explained many times why we are not considering other methods of punishment at this point, and it even appears in the thread you've posted a couple of times now. Apart from our stance on cheating this early on, it takes A LOT of resources. I believe we are in line with many other games, despite us being way smaller and more short-handed than they are. And still, I can respect that you disagree with the methods we employ, as everyone has the right to do so. We, as a company, cannot explain ourselves as much as community members and players can.

Yes, our stance on this was really bad at one point. We've always acknowledged that, and it didn't take that much for us to change our perspective. Ever since then, we've made a lot of other changes and improvements, and more will probably come in the future. While I can respect that you no longer trust us, I think it'd be fair to admit things have changed and the system has improved, despite its current flaws.

While I disapprove people getting too adamant on the two sides, I have some concerns about a form of censorship and a lack of transparency on how bans and appeals are reviewed.

This person is a known cheater who even admitted to the tools they used. They've been stirring trouble even though they were banned a long time ago... Read more

If you've found a bug, please report it here: https://crm.gg/bugs

If you are stuck in combat, or in a certain place in the Archipelago, please post about your case here:
