I know it's not ready to release, we all know the schedule announced on release day and I know it's standard practice which is what I'm questioning. By not talking, people will make their own story, usually negative as we see here daily, when little snippets of info can help stop it. I'm sure you can see the negativity here everyday and it's the same users trying to fight the fire on ubi behalf while others let the fears assume the worst. This isn't just aimed at you guys, it's gaming in general.

I get you. Well yeah, things are most likely waited to be shared until they're more finalized :D Also, I believe the no weapon restrictions will be present for PVP as well. I'm going to get confirmation.

Never understood why companies make players wait so long when they can answer questions now. This leads to confusion, players usually start assuming the worst and I just wonder what is the thinking behind the silence when it usually adds negativity.

The game isn't ready to release. It comes out October 4th and not everything is finalized. Also, it was said on announce day that further details about Breakpoint would come at E3, and PVP details would come at Gamescom. I believe it's pretty standard practice my friend!

The original player could just take back control of their drone like in R6

Yeah this is what I initially thought about when first reading.

Interesting idea. So the other players could gain outright control of the drone? How would that work if the original player goes back to their drone?

Oooh thanks! I just read the article, and this bit really stood out to me:

"Players will have a slot where they can equip a melee weapon that dictates which set of lethal CQC finisher animations your Ghost has.

At launch you will have access to two different sets: one with knives, one with karambits. We’ll have different animation sets too, so if the enemy is isolated there is a longer animation to showcase your kill."

Thanks so much for the link!

Yeah of course, no problem at all.

I was going to try for a splinter cell look on my first character/loadout due to the stealth mechanics, the takedowns, and the karambit, but now I'll be spoiled for choice!

Unless you're talking about different karambits, which is still really cool! 😁

Here's a quote from our Survival Article we posted before.

"We will have different skins for both sets of weapons, so you can find either a knife or a karambit that fits your Ghost’s look. You’ll be able to see your unique weapon skin during the animation sets."

The ability to do takedowns while prone is absolutely ace!

I agree with you, I think they look great! It will look cool to see the different knives in use that you can equip too.
