That can easily be explained! Operation Shifting Tides introduced a Limb Penetration System. [rainbow6.ubisoft.com] It's a lot to go through, so make sure you click on the hyperlink so you're caught up to speed with the new mechanic. :)

Try verifying your game files , and if that doesn't work, contact our Support team [support.ubi.com] so they can troubleshoot the problem for you.

I think the reason why the change was implemented across the board and not turned into a feature you can toggle is because this has been a constant problem brought up by the community. It's frustrating to be repelled back up to the roof while trying to get an angle into a room while upside down.

Now with that being said, I can let the team know you'd like to see the feature optional, however, it seems as if the majority of the community is okay with how the repel mechanic is now.
