I feel like me saying it's worth playing for new players would be extremely biased. However, if you do plan on buying the game and learning, I would definitely direct you to the R6 Discord,[discord.gg] just due to how welcoming that community is to new players, and you're likely to come across some players who are willing to show you the ropes and help get your feet wet.

You should still see the three dots next to your friend's name. If you click that, you'll see the option to "Start Chat".

It'll be back! The reason why it may feel as if it was in the rotation for a shot period of time is due to how many times we rotate maps. As opposed to doing it only once a season like we have in the past, Quick Match sees a map rotation three times a season, or once per month.

The next rotation will be when Neon Dawn launches.

R6 DX 11 is the default way to run Siege, Vulkan is an API we're testing with Siege to help increase performance for players with lower spec PCs. The performance changes do vary since it's still in BETA stage, so there's no guarantee that you'll see a massive change by launching the Vulkan version.

Hm. I'd be interested to see what kind of rework the community would want to see for Tower. The original concept for the map was to introduce more verticality in Siege, so would a hypothetical rework keep this same idea, or would you want to see things go in a different direction?

If we're talking about "best" Operator, Zofia would be my choice on Attack, with Maestro and Vigil as great defender choices.

I saw you mention that you don't have a playstyle, but when you're picking who to play, who are the main ops you find yourself flocking to?

Siege currently doesn't have dedicated playlists for solo or squad Ranked. I'm assuming that you're a solo player who's been coming across a lot of coordinated teams?

Goyo is a fun operator but doesn't have that strong of a presence in the current meta. Wamai on the other hand is really useful in today's meta. He's got a solid kit, and while he's losing his deployable, you may find more use for him at the moment than Goyo.
