Sorry rarely around here on this account: yes, consoles are still slated to come with the 1.0 release.

Can I ask everyone to hit up our customer support and include your specs, so we can gather as much technical info and assess your reports?

Please and thank you!

The original plan was early 2025, not the beginning of it. No idea if that’s still the plan - depends how much they want out before 1.0

We've laid out that we wanted the early access to last about a year, but we've also been pretty clear that the more successful the game was during its early access, the more ambitious it allowed us to be.

As of now the release date is slated for "2025", but definitely not "early 2025". That ship sailed when three million players gave us their trust to build Enshrouded.

Alas, there was no time for this contest, on account of the team being hard at work on the upcoming update. Maybe next year!

You better take part in the Halloween contest, this build looks awesome!

That's very sweet PLUS you got the cape right and the cape is like 95% of any outfit's coolness. Happy birthday to your kid!

The Altar doesn't say 40 meters, it just says 40x40x40. Every math teacher ever would jump on this to say 40 What? 40 cows? 40 Apples? And in this case they would have a valid point as it is completely unclear what is meant by 40x40x40.

That's actually a good point. The localization should probably say "building area (in meters)". Other areas of the interface like the construction hammer's templates do reference meters, but this one doesn't and it probably should.

Nope, turns out the game measures the building area in segments of 2 blocks.

At the risk of sounding sarcastic: did you not realize the blocks might be less than a meter a side when your character was next to a wall that was four blocks tall?

I don’t want to sound negative but honestly why do companies just do discord? It’s a tiny walled garden. Announce events on all media! I mean they want to get noticed, yes?

We only had a community event with very limited seats, and while we initially planned to roll out the announcement to all platforms, after we hit our Discord (and its 120k+ users), the event filled to capacity within a couple of hours. As a result, posting the event elsewhere with no available seats remaining would have been counter-productive.

Allow me to answer with a question that may or may not answer yours: when we prioritize a feature to come after another one in the list, do you think the team:
1 works on the items with the highest priority instead
2 gets the time they'd have spent on said feature off as vacation, as a treat

Also, in the interest of answering your next question, the feature "editable signs" has been on our roadmap for months. We're not refusing to add signs, we will get to it, we're just busy developing the rest of the game.

That floating island bit is *chef's kiss*

Very nice stuff! You should drop by our Discord with this little gem, so we could see if perhaps there's enough good stuff in there for a Beyond the Shroud showcase? Feel free to ping me on there.

Hey, actually I don't have a question I just wanted to thank you for this amazing game. My boyfriend and I are huge fans of your work since Portal Knights. We binged Portal Knights several weekends in a row from 9 am - 6 am then 3h sleep and back again. We were really looking forward to your next game and you didn't disappoint! Keep up the good work! We're already excited for the new updates

Grüße aus dem Schwabenland :)

We're very happy to hear that so many folks who loved Portal Knights are also having a really good time with Enshrouded. We hope we can bring both of you many more sleepless nights!

I am a designer by trade in my 50's. My wife and I have been waiting for a game like Enshrouded to come out since Landmark shut down (I believe) in 2017. We both adored Portal Knights (but disliked how small the maps were) so it should be no shock to you all at Keen that we are simply thrilled with Enshrouded and everything the game offers. I say this with as much sincerity as I can muster, thank you for all your hard work and effort, I can not stress (our) gratitude enough.

I can think off the top of my head 10 things I'd like to see implemented in Enshrouded, some of which come from Portal Knights such as nightstands that work as small inventory crates (same with wardrobes, cabinets, etc). armor stands (we loved making "armories"), mounts....and on and on.

But I'd rather focus my question on character customization. Wife and I love how the NPC's have very unique heights, body sizes, and attire. We'd both like to see this same level of customization for our in gam...

I'd like to personally thank everyone involved with Landmark for preparing the terrain and helping create our fanbase over a decade ahead of time. So many Landmark veterans have been reaching out to us, it's crazy. We're very happy you have found a home in Enshrouded.

We will for sure add more variety to the existing systems in future updates.
Full body customization (height, body type etc.) is currently not a focus.
The vanity (cosmetics) system will allow a deeper level of expression with outfits as well.
Adding new types of accessories (like backpacks etc.) is a bit tricky as it has to play well with all armors/outfits, so we currently don't plan to do that, but for sure might consider improvements in the future.

We also don't have any plans for additional sold items during early access. Our focus is to offer a compelling game. We might consider additional DLC or cosmetic items after full release - similar to what we did with Portal Knights - b...

Can't really help you troubleshoot stuff here and with this little info, but if you drop by our Discord or send us a ticket through the F1 menu, we will do our best to help you out.

My Question: Do you see making the survivors able to be spawned at multiple flame altars/bases.

As many others stated, I love building and also rebuilding areas. But not having my npc survivors there to crafts means I never visit those places. I would really like to have the survivors spawn-able at all base locations.

This one is actually on the roadmap we published (which you can find here, as well as in our Steam News and on our website). It's not update 2 material, but it's definitely something we're keeping in mind!
