I think the developers want to keep with a late medieval theme. That being said Polaris have an early Da Vinci style tank which could be said to be slightly more advanced than the other tribes.

I think that’s all Aquarion needs, to get honest. It’s easily one of the best late game tribes, the only issue is getting to that point.
