We did make the AI smarter, yes, but haven't changed their ability to cheat. On Crazy, they make 5 stars, just like before.

Does anyone know if the skin will be implemented in the „Apple Arcade“ version of the game? Thx!
At some point.
But is there a difference between PC and IOS? (in terms of gameplay or extra features). All the threads that I found are from 3+ years ago
No, there isn't.
It's just platform convenience.
No, and you can't "move your purchases" over.
Thankfully, the Steam version has the Regular tribes bundled in by default.
It's like a Polytopia version of r/ComedyHeaven
I'd be sad, but at the same time I wouldn't be devastated because I feel like they've got a very complete game (except for Navalons. Midjiwan please, bring them back, I beg of you)
No
Just occurred to me, moon just means month, right? Only thought about it for some days.
Yeah, more or less
The Bardur are ruled by a Jarl, the Hoodrick by a King, and the Quetzali by an "All-Feather".
But let's be honest, they're all "emperors" :P
Kickoo is hard nerfed by this new update right?
No, if anything, it was a buff
Poor custom houses 😞
Ultimately, we realized they were too meta-defining and didn't like how they were restricted to water.
So Markets were meant to be a more flexible sort of thing. Since Port costs were adjusted to 5, and then 7, we couldn't keep Port->2* on a Custom House.
how is it possible to start a game with such old versions :D?
It's not.
They just didn't update.
This was the "Path of the Ocean" update.
Here's a quick overview (and nowhere near comprehensive):
replaced boats, ships, and Battleships with Scouts, Rammers, and Bombers, 3 ship designs that are all meant to complement each other.
replaced Custom Houses with Markets, a more flexible, land-only building that uses Sawmills, Forges, and Windmills instead of Ports
Removed Whales and replaced then with Starfish, which are harvested by a unit
the Specials got mini-reworks in order to use the new naval features, such as Aquarion getting buffs/nerfs, more powerful Mooni, and Elyrion losing Navalons
Roads and Lumber Huts were nerfed, both were brought up to 3* for the sake of balance
2* cost is gold
Which is why we nerfed it
It will be the last tribe, right?
We never said that.
Ever considered adding some kind of campaign/story mode?
I could see that being really fun, maybe sort of like Advance Wars
Edit: I'd pay money for this, maybe with a different campaign for each tribe
Not really, honestly.
No, last announcement has been for the Ancients, but no idea when they'll be released.
Maybe it is to show the thermal layer, which would indicate we’re getting submarines!
No
Is there a max price for skins that you guys have talked about that you can share?
The ai mo skin looks like it had just as much change to it, but it doesn't look as pretty. The luxidoor skin looks like it has as much change or more(with the boat alteration) and it looks about as pretty.
I might buy them all if the skins ever go on sale for like half off.
We actually can't put the skins on sale since $1 is lowest we can price something on Android or iOS, so that sale won't happen.
There isn't a set max price, but more like "Regular skins are $1, Specials are $2." Mainly to match the tribe prices.
What do you mean by "more involved"? All the skins have music changes, outfit changes, city changes, most have an animal or fruit change. I would think a color change of the land would not be enough to double the price from one skin to the next. I'm not sure what I am missing.
I really love that you guys stay so passionate with the game and keep working on it to make things better. I have bought every tribe and several of the skins in support.
I just am worried about having double the price now, only for even better skins to come along, and the price gets doubled or more again to the point where skins are costing a third or half the game's price point like call of duty or something. Skin pricing is out of control in gaming today. Of course, a $5 skin for a roughly $15 game is more understandable than a $20 skin for a $70.
Nah nah, we don't want that, either.
We want to keep them cheap.
