It's funny, I saw this the day before we planned to drop the beta. What a coincidence. :)
This looks awesome! I really want to play this online with my friends, but whenever we make a game, the diplomacy tech is missing, and the other changes made by the beta are gone as well. Is this beta playable online?
It should be possible to play MP. Try verifying game files if you're on Steam.
Will we be able to buy cities? Like in spore if you go neutral route on the civ stage? That would be cool.

I did not expect this much development. Made the right move with knights in my opinion. One thing I don’t quite get, how does the enemy tribe opinions work?

i downloaded it and all 3 of the tribes i’ve got so far (Polaris, Vengir, and Zebasi) are gone
Testflight puts you on a new account where you can buy all the tribes for free.
Gave up long ago. You can only play the game for so long until it gets boring. I tried my best by supporting the dev by buying all the tribes and every time they release one as well, but that all came to an end once I realised we would only get "tribes" and no significant overhauls in the foreseeable future. I hope I can be proven wrong because I love this game.

You know, there is an old story about a boy who would constantly terorized his village by fooling them and telling them that wolves were atacking when they werent, after a while the villagers stoped beliving in him.
One day wolves accualy atacked the village, the boy saw them and tried to warn the village about them, however nobody belived him and everyone died, the end.
I think its kinda similar to what you have been doing to the polytopia comunity.
Well, "soon" is what they've been telling me, surprisingly. There's been quite a bit of delays, but it's something that has been "right on the horizon" for months, even for us (and then stopped by a delay). For the record, I'm not allowed to give any dates/times, just tell you it's "soon". I know it sucks, don't worry.
But I do have good news - we'll be talking about Diplomacy very soon. And I do mean that, like, before the month ends. :)

After reviewing the evidence, asking heads of both the main Polytopia Discord and PolyChamps, we have decided that Caviar is intentionally doctoring their statement in an attempt to slander the staff, not portraying both sides equally. The staff agrees that Caviar was banned on legitimate issues including harassment, and not "out of nowhere".
We are sorry that this had to become an issue.
Yeah. I guess this game ain't too good for me.
It doesn't mean I don't enjoy the game, though. I do like the game. It's just that, much of the time in multiplayer, turns take too long.

I think it really depends. It’ll take the color of a different tribe, but almost all of them are different colors, so I can’t tell you that if you’re the second tribe you’ll be blue, because imperius is blue so the second color would be different if that makes sense. Tbh I think it’s just random
