Unless you're able to try claiming on another linked platform, make sure that you delete the save data everywhere to remove it from the Xbox Cloud as well.

edit: It is a known issue that large friends lists are causing issues with in-game performance and in some cases, it may crash your console. This is being actively investigated and we are working on getting a solution out as soon as we can.

Hey guys, this is a known issue that is usually caused when an account has a large number of friends (hundreds, usually).

The current workaround is to set your status to offline. If you're on console, this may not work, however, you can try removing pending friend requests to mitigate the issue too.

Click Account

Click Accounts

Click Disconnect for Xbox Sign out of epicgames.com

2 things I would check for.

  1. Make sure you don't have any launch options set for Rocket League.
  2. If you have an antivirus or antimalware, it could be blocking Rocket League from starting. If that's the case, try whitelisting Rocket League and then boot again.

This is typically where .dmp files are found, and of course your logs should be found there too.

If you've crashed since then, a dmp file should appear in the same folder. If not, you can check C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Documents\My Games\Rocket League\Binaries\Win64\ too.

When you link accounts you also inherit the friend requests that were/are on your Epic account. For some this hasn't been an issue, however, for others who may have hundreds of pending requests, it has caused issues.

This may not be the exact issue you're dealing with, but it's good to check and see where you're at.

What platform is this on, and did you have an existing Epic Games account?
We've noticed that some players are having issues if they have a large number of pending friends requests for their Epic Games Account. If you're able to go through those, it could help resolve this issue.
