yes, you are allowed to disagree with rick's work. the "good riddance" sentiment is pretty gross imo

hey all

just a reminder that a) changes to the game go through multiple people, and none of them are done with malice or ill intent, and b) there is a real human being behind the username. you can still wish another person well even if you disagreed with their work on league. i hold the subreddit to a higher standard than this and i'm kinda disappointed with some of the reactions here

also, glhf rick your lowercase legacy lives on

I would love if your tech department could do even a short article about the specifics of the technical difficulties Clash presents, as it adds a lot of credibility to the claims of it being difficult, even for a billion dollar company - something people are so happy to constantly repeat.

Such articles would give a solid footing for every intelligent LoL community member to shut down baseless speculations by ignorant folks. Having a reference to a proper article with the necessary techno jargon goes a long way towards turning community tech experts on your side as well.

for sure, i put it in a diff post in this thread but we're putting a couple posts like that together. not sure if and when we'll release them, though - we're focusing on the path forward before looking back, but i hear you. joe's post today was really just meant to be a level-set on where we're at right now, and we'll share more info behind the scenes as we move forward

Hey Draggles, just saw your tweet regarding this post.

My reading of your wording is that the backend work is expected to take the rest of 2018, and we shouldn't expect to see a Clash launch before 2019. Could you let me know if I'm interpreting that right?

oh my tweet just quotes the tl;dr at the top of the post. we don't have any timelines yet
