You can now get a personalized view of your Fortnite island's Discover performance. Once your island surpasses 5,000 daily impressions in Discover, the Discover Performance Snapshot will be available in your Publishing tab the next day. This snapshot provides key engagement and attraction metrics that influence your island’s discoverability, helping you spot trends and identify areas to optimize.

A fix is in place—server tick rates are no longer increased across islands.

This issue on Creative and UEFN islands with players being ejected from the Changing Booth has been fixed.

We’re investigating the increased server tick rate experienced across Creative and UEFN islands. This can surface as sped-up animations or sensitive user controls, among other symptoms.

We’ll report back once it’s been fixed.

This template features three adventure-style character classes. Each class includes a demo level linked to a quest system, showing you how to incorporate story-driven elements into your games or build distinct character classes.

You can now create your own island based on The Walking Dead Universe! Explore ‘The Prison’ Starter Island template, check out the new Shiva Shotgun & Lucille Melee weapons, and bring Walker NPCs into your UEFN island.

You’ll also find some Prefabs and Galleries to get you on your way. ‘The Prison’ is a dark and dangerous place that players will need to survive if they want to complete their objectives.

Navigate to the Brands tab in the UEFN Project Browser to find the The Walking Dead Universe templates.

We are investigating an issue on Creative and UEFN islands where players entering a Changing Booth will be forced to exit the booth.

We will let you know when we have more information or a fix.

Starting at around 9 AM ET today, you can create islands with assets and content from The Walking Dead Universe using Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) and Fortnite Creative.

The update gives you access to two templates for UEFN (Prison Starter and Walker NPC) to get you started, as well as Walker NPCs, plus unique Walking Dead Universe-themed weapons, Prefabs, Galleries and the comic book-inspired Heavy Linework post processing effect for both UEFN and Creative.

You’ll also find the LEGO® Action Adventure Template. This template has demo areas that introduce character classes, custom Verse devices, and more.

You can now use a wide range of templates to start your island with brand-specific content. Create your starter island from the Island Templates section and use the Brand Selection dropdown to choose from brands currently in Fortnite.

We've fixed an issue with the default Chug Jug that was causing crashes in various Fortnite experiences, and it has been re-enabled.

Creators using interface fields in UEFN are currently unable to publish their islands.

Oops! It looks like the quality-of-life updates to the Assembly Device in UEFN did not assemble in the latest update.

These changes will be included in 34.20, which is coming soon.

Audience metrics are getting an upgrade! We’ve added Clickthrough Rate (CTR) and a CTR trend over time. Plus, the Impressions and Clicks charts now feature three new filters – Sources, Countries, and Platforms. You can better understand where players are seeing and clicking on your thumbnails from, the countries they play from, and the platforms they use.

We have temporarily disabled the Rejoin button on UEFN and Fortnite Creative islands because of an issue where players may get a matchmaking or join-session error.
