Hello. No, we don't have any plans to remove modifications entirely as they're a fundamental part of the game. However of course, we might add some to existing vehicles (or remove some and refund the SL/GE spent) like we do in major updates (like Firebirds) or when we do economy revisions.

Jokes aside, not sure why it's claimed to be the "October Update" - we never announced it would be for October. But nonetheless, we currently have a dev server open until tomorrow and are working on bugs to fix. We'll announce the release date on our website, please keep an eye there.
